Greatest Trip

This isn't me, I'm not supposed to be here.
Draining knowledge, causing havoc and demise.
I was the first to know and the last to receive.
They know me but I don't know them.
This has been the Greatest trip, I won't lose grip
of the trip......
Falling fast and diving hard,
A second before I forgot what I was doing....
Let go...
Let it out...
I forgot to celebrate
I'm holding on, holding, holding....
Here it is.....unannounced
I forgot to say hold on...time forgot to say hello
How rude.
I fed the druid...maybe a little early
I thought I was ready, I held it down,
held it steady......
A multitude of shriveling little nothings.
I lost every opportunity....
to be me, to be me..
