great things to read while stoned

lets get a list or something.

i just finished pot world, its awesome, you guys should check it out.
 
I read most of The Davinci Code stoned... I don't know why. Good book though, real good book.

Go! Go read it now. We all know you are stoned, you came UP with the idea.
 
Just anything with very vivid descriptive langague. I personally love Anne Rice's methods at describing things, she makes everything sound so beautiful, and I just get the most wonderful mental images whilst stoned too ;)
 
A book called Ishmael; its a narrative novel about how a man comes to learn of the destruction of our planet by our society. I don't know why, but I always read it high; and it makes me more interested in the subject matter. Smoking always makes me interested in things larger than me that I am a part of. The author is Daniel Quinn.

for some reason, I find that reading books about weed while I'm stoned to be very redundant and uninteresting.

the main reason I don't like reading while stoned is that I'll read a book while I'm very high, and think that it's the best book ever, and then when I go back to it while I'm sober, I realize that it's complete shit.
 
I like reading trip reports while stoned for some reason. Especially on Datura, because someone almost always ends up running around naked looking for their best friend from 3rd grade. Trip reports can be very entertaining a lot of the time, especially if they're written well.
 
I usually don't read much when I'm stoned. I like to be active so I don't pass out. I will read this board a little and talk to people about being/getting stoned while I'm stoned, lol.
 
Anything by H.P. Lovecraft. He wrote tons of short stories, so their easy to get through when your baked. And his discriptive writing is absolutely amazing. In my opinion, he's the greatest author of 'weird fiction' (horror/sci fi) of all time. He rivals Steven King, E.A. Poe, and all those other fools combined. (Well, maybe not combined, but he's a damn good writer none the less.)
 
Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series is a lot of fun to re-read when high. I wouldn't recommend reading it for the first time high, because it's such a long story (Now up to ten books of length between 600-1100 pages each) that you'd never be able to follow it stoned, but if you've already read it, it's so much fun to go back and read. He uses a lot of descriptive language in it, and the battle scenes are insane when you're high
 
Anything by Dostoyevsky, especially Crime & Punishment. 1984 and Fear & Loathing in las Vegas are pretty awesome as well.
 
Anything by J.R.R. Tolkien.

I've been reading some Carlos Castenada books lately as well which I have been enjoying while stoned.
 
If this topic concerns reading books "while stoned" it doesn't belong in Cannabis Discussion. People could do anything stoned..

They can be fun if you can remember what you just read... or make sense of it, i guess you could just laugh at the words, hell, laughing is enough for me
 
Pretty much anything is good to read stoned :D But as a general rule:

Catcher in the Rye
Trainspotting
Random magazines ;D

Also anything by Irvine Welsh or John King. And Dilbert books :D
