Hi all,

I am currently working in lowering my daily dose on my Oxycodone and I am using grapefruit juice to help potentiate it a little bit because I have been on a high dose for a long time and want to taper down to about 40-50% of what I was taking. I was taking 40mg x 3 oxy per day but now am at 32.5 x 3 within 2 weeks with the GFJ.

Does anyone know if using the GFJ to inhibit those CYP3A4 enzymes raises tolerance over time, kinda like how raising your dose for a day or two (without GFJ) raises your tolerance for about 3-5 days or so? Just curious cuz if so, what I am doing is kinda counter-productive! From what I gave read online, it doesn’t seem to affect overall tolerance, just current plasma levels of the drug but AI and Google searches are not always the most reliable sources. Thanks!

(if any is curious, goal is to get to 6-8 10mg roxies a day)
