my mum just got some 100% golden grapefruit juice which i was originally intending to use to increase the duration of my pods/morphine which i have no ran out of, i currently have a load of vals and xanax which im planning on having a few of each over the weekend as ive got some meph in too.

Does it do the same thing to xanax and valium? if so how does this work? Sorry if this has been covered alot before, im just interested to know.

Thanks.

i know grpfrt juice increases the intensity a little and the duration a lot when taken with xanax and i've read it does the same for valium and i've tried grpfrt juice to increase the effects or druation of oxycodone and it seems to do nothing for that.

Yeah man, it would work. CYP450 enzyme inhibition (effect of white grapefruit juice) allows the drug to be broken down slower. Works with most opiates and most benzos, as far as I know.

And mrflowers, I notice a definite increase in buzz from drinking grapefruit juice, but especially an hour after taking 600mg cimetidine, which inhibits a particular enzyme in the CYP450 class.

i have experimented with grapefruit juice and xanax. I did not notice a difference in my buzz. Not sure if this is a fact ,but I've heard it's bad for your kidneys is why they put "do not use grapefruit products with this medication",,along with valium, clonazepam too. Just giving my 2 cents. ps...I've actually went out and gotten fresh grapefruit and freshly squeezed my own juice cause i thought all the stuff they add to grapefruit juices in the store might be preventing me from getting that extra buzz i was supposed to but the freshly squeezed didn't work either or eating the grapefruit. but it could come down to the individual in alot of cases. be careful ppl....i've lost lots of friends from overdoses on benzo's to soma's and alot of hard street drugs. but just be smart with benzo's and mixing things.....3 of my friends that died were mixing benzo's with street drugs so keep it real and be smart.

right on the head of the nail there. and apparently buspar (which isnt worth two cents) is the only medication ive seen with and explicit warning to not drink grapefruit juice while on that medication

oooh god another grapefruit thread.

it works with diazepam, use the white grapefruit, fresh juice, take 45 mins before ingesting said benzo in order to slow the elimination of the drug keeping it floating around in your veins for longer.
