I got a few bits over there, but this was about 10 years ago now, so probably has changed. The best stuff was off the African 'Del Boys', everyone knows the ones I mean. the ones that are wearing about 50 gucci watches up and down each arm and about 15kg of brass, no sorry 'gold' chains aroudn their necks. The drugs wern't cheap, but they were selling Gucci watches and Ray Bans for about £4 each!!!!

Shows how much tax and that we pay here, when the equivilent watch is around £500 in teh UK, proper bargains!! :D

Serioulsy though, we got decent green and white off a couple we got friendly with, but dont know if they still operate like that over there!?!?

Bloody watch broke on the plane home tho!!
 
I was there 5 years ago and offers of "hash" and "charlie" were absolutely rife. Head to one of the CCs and you will be approached anywhere between 2 and 5 times in the time it takes to walk from one bar to the next. I never indulged at the time so can't comment on the quality or prices.

Whilst actual lolling is great, usage of the term "lol" really should be kept to a minimum cos it irks me. Actually it probably shouldn't and I just happen to have a peculiar aversion to that particular acronym for some reason. Although I must admit I have used it myself on one or two (no more than that :p) occasions :o

Somewhat bizarrely, I actually don't object to people saying "lol" out loud. In fact I quite like it. It just sounds funny when spoken which in itself causes me to... well... lol :D

Also, I fear my hasty swerve into fuckabout territory started a trend which lost us a new member almost before the registration email arrived in his inbox. Not good. But hey, if I hadn't done it there are several other wrong 'uns in this thread who would've done the same if not worse :D

Scrap metal. Best place I've ever seen for crashed cars off mountainsides. So far down they just leave them there. Buses, everything. Good luck, you'll make a fortune.
 
Was in gran canaria last year around playa del ingles. Approached quite a bit by guys around the centers offering white. We bought some twice and quality was atrocious. Not worth the expense as no decent buzz. Might be a better idea to approach/get chatting to bar tenders before things get too busy and ask their advice. Returning again in a few weeks so will see how I fair. Any other advice would be much appreciated

Absolute pish. Cunts trying to put bands on your arms and them hitting you up for cash... cheeky fuckers.

I sat in the hotel complex and got pissed. Mind you I was only on a ciggy run so most of my day was out getting suitcases filled. Never again though. If your into hiking and all that it wouldn't be bad but for gear and the like... avoid.

Its your run of the mill ex-pat sort of place full of piss heads and the locals aren't all that either.
