But practice makes perfect, no one is that good when they first start out.

Another tip I might add: don't go buying expensive spray paint just yet. It's a waste of money. Stick to the cheaper stuff while you're still practicing.

I'm doing a big thing today, it's kind of an art alliance around the town. I need a new method because the ink fades, I was thinking laminating the full page printouts and using something like gorilla glue so they'll NEVER SCRAPE OFF MY WORDS.

Maybe try making a stencil out of card first. It's a simple way of transferring your sketches over. Start out with a simple white base colour, then black for the second layer. As you build confidence you can add more layers and detail.

then do your final outline

when you are working on piece you kinda wanna do shit in stages and keep it all strait lines and fill in the rest, its hard to explain in words its easier to show ya

you can experiment with household cleaning product caps too , thats what the old school writers did.

My x's mates (from his 'crew') just got jailed in the UK for it 8-16mths each. I don't do illegal shit. Never have and never will. I was contacted and asked to be part of an all grls graff mag here in oz, kinda chuffed cos i havnt been painting that long and didnt think i was good enough and i'm not the "usual" graff chick when it comes to dress and just being that involved with the culture... fuck thats gonna piss the x off if he sees my shit in graff mags and none of his stuff is published *evil grin* hehehe
