i stood up, turned around and saw "Poems Of Heaven And Hell From Ancient Mesopotamia" next to my bed... heh
it opened and read;

'Why do you do this?'
'Quiet, Inanna,
this is the law of the underworld
which must be fulfilled
Do not question the rites of hell.
'

i suppose-
if you believe hell controls your destiny
then it will be done.
as a law of a land of that world.
