Gotta love the anticipation for getting HIGH

^ yes! I take soo long as well because doing it is just as enjoyable as preparing it so i figure why not take your time and have the experience last

loveee preparing perfect lines

I ususally didnt have the patients to wait but one time I swear I had turned an original OC 80 into at least 16 inches long. I wanted every molecule the of oxycodone's surface area exposed. It was beautiful.

Exactly my point.

If you are 100% sure that you're getting something awesome, then it's cool to be amped.

But for the most part, I find every time I get really excited for whatever drug I'm about to take, it never lives up to my expectations. So I try not to anticipate it too much, or think about how it is going to be.

Exactly my point...and there is plenty of Neurobiology to back it up. The strongest reinforcing dopamine release is the anticipation. Not the drug itself. Opiates cause physical dependence which is different because the relief in itself is so nice when your sick, but if not dealing with a sick-relief situation....the anticipation causes the largest release.

To add to this...I'm sure man have heard of conditional tolerance...this is where people have overdosed when using in unfamiliar situations or places. If you deviate from your using routine....then your brain doesn't have the time to sub-consciously "gear up" for the use. Many have OD'd this way.

Oh yea.........I am way to high on benzos + stimulants. but i know what u mean lol.....sleep time xD I LOVE OPIATES!!!!!!!!!

Yest but everyone is talking about the good anticipation.

Were talking about the "just got off work and you see their number calling you" feeling. I have old images of my old cell phones caller ID seared into my eyes of my old dealers number. Just seeing the name and number was cathartic. BUT I AGREE 100% with the horrible let down of "just a lil longer" or "waiting on dude's call". Its like FUCKKKKK. I need my meds.!!!!!!!!

I'm sorry but I'm still saying that I hate the anticipation. If I'm sick from withdrawals I can't wait to score but I don't feel good waiting. I get real nervous because I always start to think what if he doesn't show and the longer I wait after that thought the worse it becomes. That question will always be in the back of my head....always. Dope dealers are the absolute worse.

If I already have the drug and at work or something I still feel anxious waiting and just want to get off work the entire time. Anticipation is a bad thing for me when it comes to drugs.

If I'm sitting in front of a pile of cocaine then I do feel good knowing I'm about to get high in a few minutes. I like cutting up lines, I like crushing pills finely, I love cooking liquid into powder and powder into liquid. I like the preparation.
