First of all, thanks for taking the time to read this. Kind of a trick situation, but I will do my best to condense it. Before I go any further, understand that I am NOT prescribed to Suboxone, but my best friend is. I was an opiate addict for many years, but have since been taking Suboxone with my friend for over a year now. I do not abuse it, and neither does he. I simply do not have the money to see a doctor. Please, no preaching about "You aren't prescribed, you should not be using bupe." Anyways, to my situation.
My friend dropped off my 10 pills for the month at my house, but I was not home. I had a mop bucket on my porch, so I told him to put the pills in a cellophane (sp?) and just sit them in the bucket. I come home to that there was some water in the bucket, and that the cellophane was not fully sealed.
After a bit, the watery, orange substance had 2 distinct properties inside the cell. On the top was a lighter orange liquidy substance that was basically floating on top of a darker, more thick and fluid substance. I poured top substance (which was more of a thick liquid) into a seperate cellophane. In the original cellophane was a thick, pasty substance, pretty much what you would expect if you were to put a few drops of water onto a Sub pill.
After 2 days of letting it sit, the liquid that was at the top is still in liquid form, has a very odd, almost chemical type of taste. The substance at the bottom has dried into basically deformed Suboxone pills.
My question is, which substance is more likely to contain the actual medicine, and which is probably just additives/filler? The dried stuff even smells and taste like Suboxone. The liquid has no resemblance to Subs whatsoever, except for the color.
I would say a max total of 3 tsp/15mL of water got into the cellophane, and sat inside with the pills for roughly an hour. Any help would be appreciated. I am an extremely cautious and careful person, so no matter what is said here, I am going to try both substances at very small amounts until I can find the right balance, but any insight would be greatly appreciated.
