my friend brought over a plethora of drugs, as your typical ghoul lusting for drugs, i sounded he warhorn

so did. consumed 2 pressed addy, little cocaine, some dab aaaaaaand about 3 xanaxs bars.
good time, i slept 13 hours, but now my vision is... not blurry at a distance but people split into two objects of themselves,
kinda how if you squinch your eyes in opposite directions looking at something and there's multiples.

anyone experience this? hope its temporary

This is the second time ive brought up this drug in an unrelated thread, cause I was reminded of It by another post, but topiramate did this to me. It went away after a few days. I agree with @RUC4.

It's not going to sound very scientific or anything. The answer is that this sort of thing can happen with drugs. Look at sleep paralysis for example. That shit is crazy, terrifying and seemingly impossible (at least in a normal, healthy individual). If you've never heard of the phenomenon prior to the experience, it's like a nightmare. If this can happen to people, blurry vision is not that crazy.

I would be weary of the pressed Adderall pills though. It is always possible that there could be something out of the ordinary in their composition due to the lack of quality control.

yeah we went a little hard. my friend didn't get it, i feel like it was a bit of brain constriction with the coke addy dabs and less than ideal hydration.. 💀

all gone now tho!

here's some google even though people hate it:

"Yes, you should go to the hospital if you are experiencing double vision, especially if it appears suddenly or is accompanied by other symptoms like severe headache, dizziness, numbness, or weakness on one side of the body, as it could be a sign of a serious medical condition like a stroke and requires immediate medical attention"

probably not a lot they can do at the hospital... i might not go depending on how the hospital treats drug users in your area as bad as that is, but i would watch out for it, and if you start experiencing other symptoms def see a doctor... probably stay around some one to drive you to the hospital if your vision is like you describe.

didn't read this when i commented... good to hear. lol. ... i'd be scared if my vision were messed up from drug use that wasn't when i was peaking while tripping.\

i guess i get that when piss drunk too.. haven't been that way for years myself.

I've experienced the double vision thing after going harder with benzos than my tolerance would necessitate, and sometimes when I've pushed stimulants (and especially stimulant mixes) too hard, but it always goes away within a couple days at most.

i would be totally fucked up going a couple days with vision like that... must cause a lot of worry.

i think you nailed it. these xanaxs (bromazolam roughly 3mg) have funky visual anomalies that are reminiscent of clonazolam.

i went to bed last night, and thru the day i felt weird visual anomalies, so i decided to lay down with a beanie over my eyes in complete darkness to see if there was anything actually happening.

well, yeah it was scary. random sparks, a semi light flash in my right vision (rather bright.. scared me)... and the eeriest part, it was like a hallucination, as if you looked at a. light through a beanie and although you can see it, its gritty/meshed cus of the beanie, but i saw it and it moved. but there was no light on that i was looking at, lol. guess a hallucination

benzos get even more sinister than before....

Idrk if any molecule is necessarily "sinister" from my eyes subjectively, but clobromazolam/phenazolam's incredibly long come-up will almost certainly cause foolish redosing before the initial dose has fully kicked in, imo.

I've got wicked bad HPPD, so normally benzos are one of my only ways to see "normally", but bromazolam, flualprazolam, phenazolam, bromonordiazepam, diazepam, midazolam, and lorazepam (but in a uniquely Ambien-ish way) have exhibited unexpected effects such as stimulation, aphrodisiac qualities, kicking up my already pretty severe HPPD to an even higher degree, inducing super foolish drug consumption, etc. but I've never found it scary, the little sparks and all that. I already have ~300ug of LSD worth of visuals essentially everywhere I go, no matter what state I'm in, so a few little sparks and shit is relatively insignificant I suppose?

It's interesting that clonazolam did this as well, I once binged bromazolam and experienced visual phenomenon more on par with what I'd expect from ketamine than a traditional psychedelic, which is what they tend to resemble for me. For future reference and when speaking to drug naive people btw, I had to stop calling all pressed bars "xanax" because people would take them expecting alprazolam, and it led to some pissed off friends here and there who would take alprazolam and 15 hours later text me going "this wasn't real xanax was it ..."

My rule of thumb as long as my post s are semi coherent.
Though typed with one shut-eye. Double vision created by Alcohol,
but Dissociation does it to, i noticed. Att it seems OK.

So forums/ movies watching using one eye, soon as that s becoming a bother.
i realise i am gone to far already. should have stopped hours ago,
and be in bed. Knowing it will get harder, but its always gone in the morning.

Next day rereading my post sometimes are incoherent as a black hole.

it just scares me to have that happen from a benzo, like i hope it was just a shitty synth of brom/rogue chemical or something and not my brain reaching that point >.> haha. i feel fine tho

Realistically if the rest of your batch was fine, it was likely just an unexpected reaction from your brain, but it doesn't really mean you have anything wrong necessarily. Maybe just ease up on the benzos for a bit before revisiting to see if the effect returns? That's what I'd do if I was really taken aback by something like this, personally.
