Got some Butorphanol

So ive searched all over and havent really seen anything about this drug.

It is an opiate so i should be able to get high off it.

Im just not sure how strong it is and how to take it.
 
Butorphanol is about 4-8 times stronger than morphine.

After some research Iv'e found out that it is only available in injectable form and in a intranasal form. Do you have a tolerance to opiates?
 
Ive used buto before.. It's a nice opiate, I snorted it. Don't remember the dosage, but it doesn't take much to get where you wanna be.

What's your tolerance like?
 
^Take your tolerance into consideration when deciding on your starting dose for sure, its a pretty rare opiate but, as has been mentioned before, it is quite potent.
 
I also just read this about Buto though, kind of intresting i think.

"Because of its κ-agonist activity, at analgesic doses butorphanol increases pulmonary arterial pressure and cardiac work. Additionally, κ-agonism can cause dysphoria at therapeutic or supertherapeutic doses; this gives butorphanol a lower potential for abuse than other opioid drugs."

So i guess theres always the possibility of it really not feeling good.
 
yes i have somewhat of a tolerance to opiates but havent taken any in awhile so im not sure how much it went down.

I last took 40mg of hydrocodone and didnt feel anything so not sure what i should be taking now.

And these are in pills form not liquid.
 
I've never had the privilege of trying this opiate. I'm curious to hear how the high turns out due to the unique k-agonism. I wonder if has any similar effects to Salvia? hah

the pills come in 5mg.

So i should def snort it? just swallowing it wont do much?
 
Ok, I did the opiod conversion from butorphanol to hydrocodone.

2mgs butorphanol~25mgs hydrocodone

So if you know your tolerance and what your body can handle then you should probably be able to figure out how big or small your dose should be.

What mg. are these pills???

wow they are stronger than i thought. good thing i came here! :)

they ard 5mg pills. So since i havent had any opiates in i think atleast 3 months maybe. and last time i tried 40mg of hydrocodone it was just a mediocore high.

maybe just 1 5mg pill will do the trick then.

and i should snort them right? not swallow?
 
Ehh, I'm not too sure on that one. That would be all up to you i suppose. If it were me, i would just swallow it. I think that would be the safest considering you havent had any opiates in a while and you have never used this drug before. But thats just me, snorting it might not even make too much of a difference, i dont know the bioavailability of butorphanol via oral or intranasally.
 
i think i heard that it doesnt do much when u swallow it only snort.

not sure if this is true though. anyone know?

there is like no information about this drug on the internet.
 
If you are used to full agonist opiates/oids, butorphanol will greatly disappoint you. It did me...I had it prescribed for migraines. Due to it's partial agonist/antagonist nature at the mu receptor (and its agonist K-receptor properties), its dysphoria far outweighed any euphoria present.
It was enough that I traded the whole bottle (nasal spray, 1mg/ml) for some dank ganja...

whatd it do to make u feel bad?
 
I am interested in this also. I have what my research has shown to be ten miligram tablets made for vetenary use. Now obviously people use some vetenary drugs but im just not sure about this one? Should i even bother, since i am opiate dependent and used to oxycodone and the like? also i would imagine snorting these pills, and i know that snorting pills is not smart in all respect to harm reduction, but im not sure if the makeup of these tablets is much different to normal human prescription tablets.

Any help is appreciated! Ill do some more research and if i try it ill post a report.
 
^If your have a rather decent dependency it might have little effect and precipitate withdraws. I'd probably save it for when you're already in withdraws as a back up for when you can't get the good shit. Also it a pretty potent kappa stimulator like salvia, but lasts for hours, so don't take too much

One of our butlers was looking through his cabinets and found a vial of Butorphanol Tartrate Injection 2mg/ml USP, and administered it intravenously. The butler reported a euphoric opiate high, of moderate intensity. He had not been using another other opiates at the time of administration. He stated that there was no "rush," such as that which comes after administering morphine or heroin intravenously, but that the high certainly came on immediately. The butler stated that he would use the substance again were it available.
