Got a couple of 40mg methadone diskets. Pop or mix with water?

Ok so I got a couple of these orange 40mg methadone diskets and I know a couple of people have said to drop them in water, mix and then drink the solution. I have also heard of people saying just to pop them like a normal pill. Any advice? What do you guys do?

Oral administration is essentially the same whether in solution or not. It could be argued that being dissolved makes it easier to permeate through the stomach/intestine but once you take them they fall into a liquid filled stomach (most likely) and i dont know how much of an impact having it already dissolved will have. I get my methadone from the clinic in a liquid but i wouldnt care if it were a pill i doubt it matters much.

You dont mention anything in regards to tolerance or experience. Please do not start at 40mg depending on who you are if you are intolerant it might kill you or make you very sick. It can also take some time to achieve its peak and this is how users die. Please proceed with caution.
