Thats cool.
So Bluelight is what you make of it. I have made friends through here.
One time I met a member and neither of us knew it until we had known each other a bit and she recognized I guess a photo or something which was a laugh but we agreed not to discuss bluelight irl.
Protecting your anonymity is important and up to you.
You can some solid advice, learn some useful things, and talk to people all across the globe here. There are many forums on many topics.
I guess the one thing is to respect the rules and the staff as they are volunteers. We have the rules for very practical reasons and well it is appreciated if the forum rules and guidelines are understood and no you didn't break any rules but I have seen introductions like that go straight to sourcing.
There is no rule against meeting someone from here but I do believe that is not something you can discuss in a thread. You will be able to send and recieve private messages once you reach 50 posts.
My advice is treat people how you want to be treated, dont let words on a screen hurt your feelings but do realize that everyone here is a person and I have seen some people get quite upset on here.
Also the Lounge is not a place where people talk nice so if you can't take a joke, don't post in there. The site is a good thing.
I suppose I have made some friends, learned things that actually saved my life, hopefully helped people, and I wouldn't keep coming back if I didn't enjoy the site. So you are gonna talk to many ppl that are on the same wavelength so to speak.
As long as you are nice and don't make the staff members day any harder the easier you get accepted so just like anything of a social nature, you get what you put into it.
Anyways, welcome to the site and there are some cool ppl from Texas on here.
