Good powerbuilding routine?

Right now I just need to get back to the gym period because it's been over 4 months. 8(

You can do it mate! Just get through the door and the training will take care of itself.

Just curious do you guys take a journal of your workouts? I'm very bad at loosing the ones I've kept so I'm always starting a new one. Recently started keeping a note online but it does seem a rookie error. I'm also bad for not recording the weight. I will keep an extra eye on this in the coming week.

Nutty I know the feeling man. And not making it to gym for 4 months because of it sucks dude no way to sugar coat it. I've only recently got back into training at the gym but it does make a big difference to your own confidence I find and there's no doubt about it for the effort of having to get up and go there the reward is a better workout. Provided like me you have a nice quiet private health club type of gym with a good weights range. I used to find with the busy ones having to wait to get on the bench really fucked up my psyche of "let's do this" before I'd workout.

Thanks man... Yeah I've always written down my workouts and then posted them on a lifting forum at some point when I got back home. I've been pretty OCD about recording my workouts for as long as I can remember.

Picked up the weights today... 1 x 6 set of dumbell curls with 25s. I'm a badass. lol

In all seriousness tho I just wanted to feel some weights again. Maybe if I start messing around with what I have in my garage I'll get motivated. Or just go to the damn gym.

Sometimes in the past when I've gone on prolonged sessions with stimulants and really fucked myself up, I've started back with just a few simple lifts at home. Never feels so "simple" at the time, because your body is still recovering, a shell of what it should be.

Something like squats, bench press, deadlifts, bent over rows, db curls. Not that heavy or anything just so you can do a few sets of each. And slowly keep tweaking more into your routine until your doing a gym worthy workout at home. Then go back to the gym with confidence lol :)
