Good pills and bad pills

May get shot down for asking this question but is there any giveaway signs that could possibly differentiate a good E from a dud or very cheaply made pill? I have noticed a waxy texture to a few less than average beans I have had the misfortune of buying, is this waxy texture just coincidence or does it mean something?
Obviously I know the only real way of knowing how good a pill is is by testing it but just wondered if there were any tell tale signs.

A test kit. They are cheap. Legal to own. And will be the only way of knowing what is in your pill. If $15 isn't worth it to you to ensure what you have is MDxx then you truthfully don't care what you take and this thread is pointless.

Also, if a pill has MDMA in, then its good. The presser has no need to make it look good, hard or appealing if it contains MDMA, the chemical itself is enough to sell it, even if they're blank crumbly pills.

If they're know to be good people will want them regardless of appearance.

If they're known to be shit but look good, people may still buy them, and the pressers know this. Hence lots of cartoon characters and "fun" looking pills that are full of crap.

A test kit would be the best choice, as Smell, taste and colour, arent really going to give you much of a clue whats really in it.

Or send it off to ecstasy data (if you dont mind paying the price of seeing how good it is/ whats actually in it)

Basically, from my invaluable experience on pillreports ( ), Ive found that you really CANNOT tell if a pill is good by looking at it, but you can pretty easily tell if its fake.


Most fake pills (NOT ALL!!!!!!!) will have these traits:
Shaped pills (cut outs), waxy texture, bevel on top or bottom (this also happens on good pills, but more often on fake 5-MeO types), bright colored/rainbow speckled pills are almost always bunk as shit (like these http://www.pillreports.com/index.php?page=display_pill&id=28848), fat pills ("quadstack") are almost always shit, and pills that have their logo raised (outpress) instead of engraved in the pill (inpress) are usually horrible as well.



And the number one way to tell if your pills are bunk.....
It doesnt turn straight black on the marquis reagent!


check your pills on pillreports.com or ecstasydata.org, and invest the $25 into your brain and get a test kit

There are various sites, some are better or worse. I don't want to post any links as some of the best sites are banned from being posted here. Get a "kit", a bottle dropper reagent. If you want to keep costs down, get one. The ampuoles sold on EZ test are far too expensive unless you want to bring a few into a show. Google, "chemical reagent testing kit" or any variation of that and you'll get some good results.

Dancesafe.org is a great site or try http://www.ednyrion.com if your in the UK/Europe - best kit on a budget is the Marquis.

Not silly at all - Cut outs are pills which look like cut outs of cartoons (simpson characters have all been produced all were fake pills,, various shapes etc

Not necessarily, it's really not that hard to make a fake report on a pill that very well could or could not be real.

Agreed, it's impossible to tell what's in a pill without testing it. Honestly anyone with a pill press can make a fake pill, and you wouldn't be able to tell until you consume it and suffer the consequences.
