I like valium alot better then ativan or xanax. It's a very relaxing benzo. Everyone reacts differently to different benzos. Ativan does nothing for me even at really high doses.
Yes a lot of times. I’ve been on them since 2007, maybe a year or two longer. I was a heavy drinker and my dumb ass, not knowing anything about benzodiazepines thought they were a miracle drug for horrible anxiety and panic attacks ( they are at first) and I was able to talk to people without being drunk ( social phobia and low self esteem) any way since 2007 I was prescribed them sooooo 15 years on them.Shit, that's bad, what how long was you on them, and what dose when you came off and ended up in a psych hospital, and you mean it's happened more than once?

You rarely see anyone in more pain then someone who is chronically treated with opiates
Have you gotten your Vitamin D levels checked?Oh yeah I forgot about that, you're right, I was referred to a pain clinic for my fibromyalgia and they told me not only does your body get used to the opioids which I already knew but they change the signals in the central nervous system which makes you more susceptible to pain
progressiver GABA damage is something well known in ethanol/benzo users. imo they are not suitable long term. which pains me, because they are so relieving for PTSD, anxiety etc. I've had to make my life over GABA free with only kava and muscimol because of the damage that has occurred in meAs others have stated, I think with benzodiazepines as well as opiates, long term chronic treatment ends up potentiating the conditions they were initially used to treat. You rarely see anyone in more pain then someone who is chronically treated with opiates and you rarely see someone who
is more anxious then someone who has been chronically treated with benzodiazepines.
I also get that people need relief from chronic pain and anxiety.
Anxiety is treatable including social anxiety by changing how you think.

I would insist upon it. My handle neversickanymore comes from being very sick with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, sarcoidosis etc. This was awhile back but they told me it was a chronic illness and could only be treated and not cured. Well that was not acceptable to me so I cured myself, under a doctors supervision and now I’m never sick anymore. im almost ten years down the road symptom free.Don't know, I had a load of tests done before getting diagnosed with fibromyalgia to rule stuff out, so maybe
I could ask my doctor next time I speak to her as I don't go outside much so don't get it off sun as much as I should

Not looking forward to my next withdrawal in a few months when I move away from OTC benzos
the half life is insanely long. I once took 10 mg Valium and it showed up on the drug screen even after a week
imo the RC benzo scene is even more terrifying. I've got a friend who got heavily up on clonazolam. He had to approach a psych for an emergency taper after running out. they had to start him at 140mg diazepam, and he was still experiencing zaps/electrical issues/generally in fucking misery.Being from the UK it's just mad hearing of country's with OTC benzos, I used to think it would be so easy if that was allowed her then on the other hand would just cause loads more addicts and people struggling even harder to come off them
