Ok so I have stopped most junk food in my diet now I just need a few tips 40 healthy foods but not to lose weight and not any foods that will make me want to go and hunt anything.

Just simple foods that are beneficial for lifestyle or lifespan.

I find yogurt with granola and honey parfait fillin or oatmeal and banana. When it comes to salad I put chicken on it so that I have a little bit of neat on it and of course instead of using ranch sauce or other types of dressing I use vinegar.

For fruits bananas do it for me and you can add more like pineapples oranges and avocado. I believe that in order for you to maintain your weight and not crave for more is to do it in moderation so if you are hungry you eat but if your not don't.

I'm counting (arguably) ten foods so far. Does that mean that there're 30 to go? Do any of these make the OP want to "hunt anything"? :P

^hahaha

op also try salmon and vegetables for lunch or dinner I find this filling as well or chicken and vegetables whichever you prefer to eat. A cup of brown rice and your preferred meat is good too and like I mentioned, everything should be in moderation. I eat three meals a day and my snacks in between are light snacks (fruit/vegetable) and less on the dairy part.

Hunting?
Na i need to put on weight, but not fat weight

what's wit the hunting thing??????????????
I want to put on weight but not my gut how do I lose Gut fat

It is with your diet still, the portions you eat and what you eat. Have you tried the previous posts that I have posted? It will make a difference for you if you watch what you eat and eat right and also in the right time. Like I have already mentioned, lean meat should be good but in proper portions.

No haven't tried yet. Just chicken and fish, protein shakes
I don't get why my body is thin but gut is pregnant? How does that work?

I actually have that kind of a problem too, thr rest of my body looks ok and I exercise a lot but the belly part seems to be late. Try to see some exercses and see if this improves in time. For some, it will only take a few months and for others longer so try to do situps and crunches.

I want to ask you the same question (I was just poking a little fun is all. . .my apologies):

You said:

Where your body deposits fat is largely determined by genetics, so you just have to improve your proportion of overall lean mass. Also, yours is a common fate for men who were previously skinny as they enter their late twenties.

Anything that you can buy at a farmers market is great. If you can grow it yourself so much the better. Staying away from things that are "prepared" also helps. The closer to how it originally grew the better. My 2 cents

Tanks Maya! You are a greatt help!
ebola: no apollogies needed....I said it for some weird reason? I Dunno?

Np dunno glad I can help. I have been cutting back on chicken and beef and been eating more fish and its been only a few days but I'm seeing results s o if it will help you can try this as well. I like sashimi and I'm actually eating it atm as I type.

I only get those frozen chicken and fish but the back of the pack has lots of protein, not much carbs. There is heaps more protein, carb amount isn't that high.

Nearly all animal tissue contains negligible amounts of carbs (effectively none). Since you're not going for weight loss, a good balance of protein, fat, and lower glycemic-index carbs, coupled with regular aerobics and strength training, is ideal for health and maintaining energy levels. You also want to eat a bunch of plants to reduce your risk of various cancers (and keep regular, heh). As for which meats are healthiest, the cult of broiled, skinless chicken breasts is based on outdated fat-phobia.

These figures seem wrong, as is indicated here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meat#Nutritional_information. Lawry's Meat Science characterizes mammalian muscular tissue as containing roughly 1 percent carbohydrates by weight, I assume mostly stored glycogen, and possibly minute amounts of blood serum glucose (Lawry et al. 2006). There's just no way that these tissues could contain more carbohydrates than protein or fat. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by the numbers presented sans units of measurement.

Are you sure that these aren't descriptions of these meats as prepared, with some source of added carbohydrates?

I pretty much exist on: Boneless, skinless chicken breast. Cleansing vegetables such as greens, carrots, celery, peppers, onions. Fruits: apples, oranges and any types of berries. Greek yogurt... but I'd go for the plain ones, and sweeten yourself with fruit and truvia and maybe some sugar free preserves. Water, water, water and more water! SO important. If I do breads I do whole grain, and I enjoy oatmeal with truvia and fruit. I like to eat celery with cheese as a snack too.

First thing in the morning, before I put anything in my mouth at all, I put 8 oz water in a cup, microwave it until its warm, then squeeze half of a fresh lemon in it, then drink that. It gets me going for the day.. aids in digestion and metabolism. Then after that I eat breakfast.
