Good/bad combos? Any experiences?

don't know about lithium but those others sound nice, a lot of depressants to be prescribed at once. lucky you

But that aside. The combo you are taking appears to be safe. The ambien - to me - appears to be pointless.

The Ambien, I think, is habit now. My fiancee tried sneakin my meds to me minus the Ambien and I just knew. Didn't sleep at all that night.
It's a love-hate relationship at this point. And Trazodone does shit on it's own, as does Ambien.
Glad this is a safe combo tho!
Yay!! No more Effexir crap. Ugh, I hate that med. That and diazepam.
 
My Schedule was 24x5mg Diazepam, 6x2mg Alprazolam, 2x1mg Flunitrazepam, 4x300mg Depakote, 2x300mg XR seroquel, 6x100mg IR Seroquel and 1x20mg lexapro.

So actually 45 ;).

Now I am down to virtually none. maybe 10-15 a day.

Yeah the Ambien is pointless when you have alprazolam - but - I guess if alpraz is for panic and not used at night the ambien might help you sleep. I personally from benzo usage can't even feel ambien.
 
Lithium can be quite effective for controlling mania and stabilizing mood, but it is very toxic and dangerous requiring constant blood tests for plasma levels. I have not had first hand experience with it, but again it is a toxic drug, so be very careful. Trazodone is an anti-depressant with sedative qualities, sometimes rx'd for insomnia or anxiety. I have heard of trazadone "abuse", but in reality it has no recreational potential, though it is sedating. Also it is known to produce wildly vivid dreams. Alprazolam and zolpidem obviously have recreational potential, and are often used recreationally. The combination of these drugs does not sound particularly dangerous, though there will be CNS depression. I am going reiterate that lithium is toxic, and only if you need it and are aware of the risks should you take it, and always take it with extreme caution. NEVER dose above the rx'd amount, and get very frequent blood tests to ensure that your plasma levels aren't too high.

Thanks Alex. Really good to know that about Lithium. I'll be sure to stay on top of it. I really don't need anymore problems. My psych didn't mention any tests, course he's an idiot, so I will ask my fam dr to follow up for me. He'll do it.
I tried abusin Ambien, didn't do anything for me that my 10 mgs at night doesn't do.
The Xanax I gotta watch myself bc I love eatin the hell outta those bars.

Yeah what other people said, be careful with that lithium. A friend of mine was prescribed it for a while, stopped taking his prescription, and had a psychotic episode (and a seizure).
 
Getting a prescription of Flunitrazepam would like be like finding a pot of gold to me. Other than the fact that I'd be incoherent 24/7 and addicted af.
 
TBH I can ask my doctor for any benzo with any dose. Thats the respect we have for each other.

He isn't a pill mill, he just understands my situation.
 
I wish my psych would understand my problems. I think he plays spin the med wheel & give me whatever pops up. Fuckin moron. If I took half of what he prescribes I'd be the laziest person watchin life slip by...oh wait, he's already created that.
I use to have this amazin energy that carried me thru life. Thanks to dr dumbass, I sit back and mourn life's passing.
 
Congrats on getting your xanax back!!! I know you have been wanting to switch for awhile from your other posts. I hope it produces the effects you are after.
