The Sugarcubes - Birthday (1988 ). Featuring Björk, this song got a lot of international attention and put Icelandic rock on the map.



Sonic Youth - Candle (Daydream Nation) (1988 ). Sonic Youths fifth album and what a great record. This album got them a major record label deal.

 
I'm starting out slow. Everything else from me'll be Hi-NRG and trashy 80s pop ;)
