Going to the movies - alone

i've never been to the movies alone, and i should really get over that too since none of my friends ever usually want to see films that i'm interested in.

i.e. films that are in black and white, have subtitles or god forbid both!
FREAKING IDJIOTS!!!!! :p

*sigh*

so i havent done it, only because i usually refuse to go out to the store alone... and never to eat. i know i am acosted frequently by the strangest people out there (and not in good ways) and it has left me with fear of venturing out alone.
but i think it is perfectly reasonable thing to do and i would if i wasnt fearful of the human race sometimes.

^^^ did you enjoy downfall?

More than I thought I would. The portrayal/image of Hitler was errie but really well done. The actor they chose was dead on, like Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan in X Men.

I'm a World War I/II buff. I spend a lot of my pot-time watching History channel, History Int'l, Discovery Times, etc. :)

It was one of those movies that really, I was happy to watch alone. My friends lack an interest in the subject matter so it worked out for the best.

Before that I saw Spiderman 2 alone. That was more fun to watch w/ friends.

i have recently become a sales rep, which involves me travelling away sometimes. so i am beginning to get accostomed to eating in restaruants alone.

hence my new found ability to go to the movies on my own if i want too.

I love going to the cinema on my own and probably go alone 3 times more than I go with others.
In early school I was able to see one movie per school holiday and got used to going on my own then.
Nowadays, i just go on my whims, so rarely give others enough time to join me.

Now if anyone wants me, i'll be watching my stories.

I dont mind going to see things alone, but i do feel a little weird at first when i'm sitting alone...its not so bad if there's not a lot of people though...

I go to movies alone so that I can analyze them and learn from them. If I wanted as social activity I would go to a party.

I dont really think anything when I see a person in the movies alone. A few years ago I went to the movies by myself once. Now I usally go with friends or I just dont go.
