going to do shrooms for the first time

can someone answer these questions for me

ive herd they taste like shit what do they taste like?

how long can i expect a half 1/8th to last me

is it less likely to have a bad trip on shrooms then acid?

any other tips or info would help

I can't comment on the taste as I always grind them up and drink em down. Personally I'd recommend grinding them and putting them in gel capsules and just taking the capsules, no bad taste and less chance of insta-puking

A 1/16th is a pretty small dose, it could last anywhere from 1-3 hours with a mild after effect

I can't comment on that, just be sure to have some nice music playing, a level head, and a calm environment free from distractions for several hours.

They taste like funkier versions of the mushrooms you would eat normally. Personally I don't think they taste too bad at all.

An 8th of mushrooms can mean anything, as there are so many different strains of shrooms (& how widely they vary too). So strength & the length of the trip can vary. Ask the person you get them from about how much to take, or try a small dose to test the waters.

I'd say LSD has a more positive push, so that would be less likely to lead to a bad trip. But what is far more important is set & setting. Make sure you're in a safe & comfortable place, with people you like & not under too much stress in your life & you'll do fine. But having valium on stand by would be useful as a back up.

Some grow wild in shit so they may have shit particles still attached to them.
No really, they are not as bad as most people make them out to be. Granted they don't taste like bacon but they are far from barfplosive.

They do tend to really get stuck in your teeth though so a toothpick can be handy.

You want bad?... drink the boiled sludge of dried peruvian torch chips. Ugghh!

That's 1.75g. If you take it all at once and the stuff is pretty decent, you should expect the experience to last about 4 hours with a 2 - 2.5 hour peak, give or take. Personally, I wouldn't split such an amount as I find anything under a gram is just a waste.

Nope. If anything it is MORE likely. IME Shrooms are pretty chaotic and unpredictable compared to LSD. But the duration of effects is a lot shorter than LSD so if the experience is bad at least you're not stuck in it for 8 - 12 hours.

That sounds.... complicated. Why not just down them quickly and drink something? I wouldn't go through all that trouble personally unless I had to conceal my consumption.
