Going to Class high.

I think being stoned is about the ONLY way I can handle my severe astronomy class and be able to not write my hand off and pick out the main points. We will see I guess.
I have gone to class high on opioids before, leaving to go puke...not so productive.
 
okay, I would never say this in person... but on bluelight i feel like its kinda okay.

A FATASS BAG of DOPE is PERFECT before Class ANYTIME!!!
 
Are you paying for your own school? Going to class high seems pretty stupid to me - you're not in high school anymore. I mean if you don't care about remembering anything or how "high" your GPA is, go ahead and smoke 8)
 
i can't believe all these people who go to class high. nothing like a good buzz to waste a class, and a good class to waste a buzz.
 
Idk why you people can't see why other people may be affected differently
...I go to class stoned everyday, have a 3.9 gpa as an almost senior Biochemstry student..
Getting stoned and going to class is what got me interested in school in the first place.

And I'm just not for making blanket statements saying that people that go to class high are wasting their classtime. And I suppose I took offense at the "You're not in high school anymore" comment.

Sorry you took offense, I was talking to the OP not you. There are always exceptions, but as a rule marijuana does affect your memory. I know I personally wouldn't go to class high because I paid too much for school to roll the dice that way.

nah my mom is paying for my school. Im lucky.

I am in one of the top schools in the nation for my undergrad.

I only hold a 3.0 GPA which isn't bad... but yeah im lazy as fuck.

The reason I asked if you were paying for your own school is because the people I've known that paid for their own school tended to take it a little more seriously than the people who's parents paid. I'm NOT saying you don't take your schooling seriously, it's just a trend I've seen in other people.

A 3.0 isn't bad for some degrees, it all depends on what you want to do after college. If you want to go to grad school you'll want to bring that GPA up.

I'm naturally lazy myself so when I was in college I had to work EXTRA hard to make good grades. Smoking weed would before class would have made it much harder for me.

Here's what I used to do: I'd pack a fat bowl in my bong and set it on my dresser and I wouldn't touch it until AFTER I was done with ALL of my homework/studying for the night. I used weed as my motivator to make 4.0's a few semesters. I knew I wouldn't be able to concentrate if I tried to study high, so I just focused on my work knowing as soon as I was done with it I could smoke (and drink) the rest of the night.
 
Unless I'm going to class on uppers then I don't really see the point of going to class high. I go there to learn, and all other drugs make learning more difficult.

I never go to class stoned anymore. Grass + class do not mix lolz. It impairs my memory, cognitive ability, etc.

uh... well im a relaly good standardized test takers. i am gonna break 175+ on the lsat and go to a top 14

if i don't do law i will have to do grad school ...its only a year anyway for me mastas

Im lazy as fuck i get by cause im a quick learner.

ur right i don't take school seriously at all... cuz i wouldn't have paid to be here.. haha.

i just smoke blunts 24/7 tha'ts how i like to roll it lol

my LSAC GPA will be a 3.1 by the time they see it... (after my junior year)

cornell's bottom 25th percentile is 3.2.... and their top 75th percentile on the last is something like 168....


If i break 170+ with a 3.1 im pretty sure i can swing cornell possibly georgetown.

I'm not an underrepresented minority but i do bring "diversity" into the student body. im physically handicapped.
 
took my finals barred out on xanax... probably not the best idea but i was stressing...

I got close family connections and networks in the service industry that I am studying right now (accountancy) ... so a 3.0 is definently okay....

It's all in who you know... Im lucky i guess... CPA/JD combo does sound like money...

and the "i go to law school" line on chicks probably works pretty well!

but yeah... Smoking weed is really baseline... If i could afford it, i'd do nitrous all day lol...

whomping through the day! Im still a kid at heart this college shit is making me grow up too fast

EDIT: I do regret fucking up freshman year in college though... never going to class was just simple stupidity.
If i had a higher GPA with a 170 i could break top 6 probably.... i'll be shooting myself in the foot for that one if i get 170+ this june

My parents pay for college, but I still take it seriously. I’m extremely grateful to them for paying for it so I don’t want to waste their money.

Ultimately, I just value college because it's a huge opportunity and it's critical for my future. I think it's enlightening too.

I never go to class high anymore. It would such a waste. Honestly, you only go to class a handful of days a week - the rest of the time you can party or whatever. I personally want to retain what I’m learning. I think I’m a smart person - I honestly enjoy learning. Doing it high would just be a dumb waste.

Tbh, I also seriously enjoy getting high, but actually attempting to learn shit while high ruins the high anyway...
 
For a few months last year (freshman yr at college) I would go to classes high on weed alot. For a while I had alot of money and a big weed abuse going on. It was actually once I started going to class high half the time that my tolerance started to build up and my love for weed has been decreasing at a steady rate since then. I managed to study high and take my finals high and did very well on them, almost all A's and nothing lower than a B+ so yipee for that.
