Opioids Going from Oxycodone to Opana

DON'T DO IT BRO! Now you've tried it, trade it for some oxy and let it go. You're asking for trouble. You can easily OD on that Opana. I was taking 40mgs of Oxy at the time and got some 30mg Opana, old school ones. I'd remove the outer layer, cut the pill into thirds and then insuffulate 1/3 of the pill. That's as I high I've ever gotten from a pill. You should wait an hour to see how you feel in order to be safe. Lot of people have OD'd on Opana!!!

The second problem with Opana is that my 40mgs of Oxy that I could get a nice high from went from 40mgs to 60mgs only a few days after using Opana and I only had 3-4 pills. Not too mention it's the most expensive Opiate. You will feel great but your tolerance is going to shoot up. If you have a lot of money then it won't be that much of a problem but I think you're crazy to do it. Even if you just get one pill and insufflate it, one-third at a time, your tolerance will go up some.

Great, keep the responses coming ya'll! I do love this Opana,it gives an excellent nod and nice warmth, but i have a very high tolerance and im not concerned with ODing, dont get me wrong im not stupid about it.
my first day with them i did 3 40's not all at once but througout the day and my last dose i was nodding the fk out. love it.
so i can nod on 100-120MG opana and with OXY it takes 210MGS+ for me to nod

haven't shot opana yet. Why do you say it's more euphoric than oxycodone? I have a pretty high tolerance for opiates so want to know if it's worth the switch.

My question is if I took 7.5mg of oxymorphone at 9:00pm last night will I be able to pass a drug test specifically for opiate levels wednsday at 1:00? Also the test has to be sent to a lab, if there was a trace of opiates still in my urine is it possible for it to "die" will on the way to the lab or is it going to show in the urine regardless?

I don't know about a drug test but opana was definitly my DOC.
I used to be prescribed roxis then opanas. I liked opanas much more. I thought morphine was horrible when prescribed it for a short time.
Opanas had way better anitdepressant effects for me.

With these new formulas even when taking off outer layer of time release, i think theres still time release inside the whole pill. The whole pill on the inside is like wax even after taking off outer coating.

Some peoples stomach/intestinal make-up is such that they cannot break down these "super glue pills" has to do w/ ph, amount of acid required to break it down, metabolism etc It really sucks for pain management patients who are switched over to these then are required to take them for a week, because most Dr's say thats the "least amount of time it takes your body to recognize the analgesic benefits" (which is bullshit because an IR of the same medication takes about an hour)... If they only knew the ER pills are still whole when they come out the other side in the stool.
Hopefully your Dr. is smart enough to leave you w/ enough of you IR medication (that works) so if you realize these ER meds' arent doing squat for your pain within 24-48 hours You still have pain meds' that DO work.

And if you dont have decent copay get ready to make a next day follow-up appointment because they cost about 100 times more than their weight in gold.

Hate to take it there but when I got my new indestructible opanas I had to dissolve in 2.5 tsp water for 12 hours in sealed container And squirt up my bum. You don't need as much of the pill because bioavailability is much higher than oral - it just wasn't as convenient to carry or dose. Worked fantastic tho. Lasted longer than the old script. But I sure do miss my stop signs.
I used an oral syringe with a rubber tip no lube needed. The stuff was slimy!
