Going back.....

rising above the rest feeling at ease,
finally i thought to myself
this is how it feels.
amidst my darknes and surrow
i saw that light, and the sun shined
for awhile.
yet no one warns us of the downfall
i thught once i was out,
that darkness will fade.
yet here i am back again
amidst my darkness and my surrow
will the light completely fade?
holding on real strong,
walking in the crowd
faking the 'im ok'
do you really want to know the truth
or was once enough for you?
failing to stay strong,
can't really hold on.
but what am i holding on to,
broken friendships?
failing dreams?
unsupportive loved ones?
or just the thought that one day ...maybe..... one day....

Hold on because the darkness will fade....it always does and "maybe...one day...maybe" is a great reason to keep going.
