Goin back to Uni Thread

Hi All,
well, i'm at uni now in one of my computer classes. I must say, the first day of uni has been one big fuck up. They've changed all the classes around.. admin ppl are bastards. Some of the head teachers are "convenietly" not here! Our work book arn't in yet so i've got to re-write everything back into my book..
ehhh, things will look up! I hope

If anyone can find me a full time job inserting cacti up my own botton I'll take that instead of going back to uni this year.

Nooooo, please dont make me...please! Oh...
Yeah Cynakill you're doing the same thing as me, Commerce at monash clayton, cept im going into second year. It's not as bad as im making it out to be, im just lazy. But if all goes to plan, by the end of next yr i should have a degree and then I'm off o/s. So back to uni i go, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Well, i knew that the most briliant start to the New year would not hold up. In fact, I think this year may possibly go down as the worst one yet.So of course, why would the uni fraction of this fuck up year be any different? Huh?
TELL ME!
Maybe the organic experiemnts i am re-doing will blow my face off :)

*sigh*
I am both yay and nay about returning to my 2nd year of uni... I'm really looking forward to the international studies components of my degree, but tourist psychology and tourism industry practicum subjects do not exactly call me to fits of euphoria...
In fact, the only thing holding me at uni at all is the one year of study in spain that i will undertake in 2 years time. I didn't make it into writing and contempory cultures as i had aspired, so it seems that this year will follow the suit of last year study-wise...
*sighs again*

i feel old. Going into 5th and hopefully final year of uni (crosses fingers).
I'm so used to full time uni i don't wanna leave, the idea of full-time work is far too scary. I'm not ready to grow up yet. So bring on o-week cheap booze.

Entering 3rd year Soft(ware) Engineering at ANU...
I'm (hopefully) dropping a subject and picking up philosophy. Could years of getting stoned and talking shit finaly pay off?
I'm looking forward to uni, a bit... Its better than the 9-5 slog I have been doing during these holidays. But it also means hard work...
bah. If French colonialism has taught us anything it's ca va.
;)

hey pill_poppin_babe, i'm doing psych at burwood deakin :) altho i'm offcampus, i work fulltime (blech)
black_eyed maybe thats why i'm still doing my degree after 7 years? stubborn refusal to grow up n act my age... long may it last :)

fb1: ca va is sorta like the hows things phrase we use...
*confused*
do you mean c'est la vie? or is there some joke i'm missing????
:)

Going into 2nd year multimedia design at the national school of design in melbourne. I'm looking forward to it after about 3 months of avoiding doing anything really constructive..I need deadlines to motivate me to do anything these days it seems.. 8(

This is my second year of a Masters degree.
Hopefully i'll get through and i'll be done at the end of the year! :)
In terms of liking my course - I like it about 100 times more than I liked my undergrad. I studied my bachelor because there was pressure on me to study, not because I wanted to.
My masters was done because I enjoy the work.

I last went to the uni of Canberra in 2001, where i left a Writing course.
I reckon this time round ill go to Newcastle, do something in the philosophy and music areas.
Ill be back in 6 months, ready for the second semester.
Allthough im having fun now, im quite aware i could die at any moment :)

Cosmic Mist,
I just changed to Arts/Science at UNSW, from COmmunications (Writing and Contemporary Cultures) and International Studies at UTS, which I assume is what you are wishing you were doing? Trust me, it's not all its cracked up to be, thats why I left... Unless you like receiving zero instruction (what are we paying for??), and then failing because you got it 'wrong', even tho they never told us what they actually wanted???
Do something else. Enjoy anything else. Trrrust me.

Sigh...going back to Uni tomorrow.
Anyone who attends Monash Uni know whether MDMA (Monash Dance Music Association) gonna be running this year?
