I have taken Clonidine to pump my opiates since two or three weeks -no more.
Yesterday I couldn't sleep because I ran out of the damn drug and my hearth was racing badly. I took a lot of benzos, Tramadol and Lyrica and somehow managed to balance my pressure.
This night my hearth is racing again and I have the same medications as yesterday, but if feels like I'm going to die from the pressure.

Does someone know something to taper off Clonidine? does Aspirin helps? does benzos helps? how long it takes to taper off?

I beg somebody help me, I never tough a drug that was relaxing with opiates could kill me. I'm in panic guys.

You are experiencing rebound hypertension. I would have thought that only two weeks of use would not lead to a hypertensive crisis but I am not aware of doses used and any specifics.

If you cannot get a hold of clonidine, ingest a mixed alpha/beta blocker such as labetalol or carvedilol. However, I am going to go out on a limb and guess that you do not have any of these two so my suggestion is to go to the ER. Tell them you have been two months straight on the med for sleep and ran out so that they treat it serious. A hypertensive crisis should not be waited in the ER, you need to go in immediately, they would be able to bring it down fast. A hypertensive crisis can damage the brain and other organs so take it serious.

And for the love of Snoopy, always have these agents around if playing with substances that will raise blood pressure dramatically (even if paradoxically through WD as is the case of clonidine). Lastly, save the god damn clonidine for special occasions such as WD from opiates or the odd night of insomnia, the stuff is a god send.

P.D Do NOT take only a beta blocker without the alpha blocker as that can spike blood pressure even more leading to fatal consequences.

There is no 911 in my country, and I don't want to drive on benzos..

Since we dont know what is your blood pressure, I am going to assume that you are indeed suffering a hypertensive crisis. If you do not get treated fast, you can end up very bad e.g Limbs paralysed from a vessel in your brain bursting and leaking blood uncontrollably, as I know the case of someone who suffered a tyramine induced hypertensive crisis. You are in Argentina mate, unless you are in the Patagonia, you should be able to get to some form of healthcare setting, we are not requiring facilities for neurosurgery here, just basic facilities which you can find in any town.

In the case that healthcare is not an immediate possibility, do you have Viagra? if so, drop 100mgs and keep yourself active (walk around, do some push ups). This should bring down your blood pressure until you can get access to medical treatment. If no viagra, keep yourself active and try to get some form of supplemental magnesium, one gram of mg citrate can help lower bp albeit little.

Given the lack of further information from you, I cannot stress going to the ER enough.

Lastly, and this is just me speculating since you mentioned you had benzodiazepines, those with strong anticonvulsant actions (diazepam, lorazepam or clonazepam) should be better for trying to reduce bp than those with weaker anticonvulsant properties. Keep the benzos redosed.

if ones heart is racing from stims and he is nervous for his health...is it okay to use a cns depressant to help calm/lower his heart

Wow. I thought I was going to die.

Luckily I got distracted with other things..

Thanks a lot guys, I think A LOT of Clonazepam, some Tramadol, Lyrica and Lorazepam helped to calm down the pressure, although if I put my finger in my neck I can feel my heart still pumping fast.
For some reason I have a strong headache now.

I have a question, does eating food (a sandwich for example) help to calm down the pressure?

If you haven't eaten lately, maybe. Your blood sugar levels can affect your heart rate and overall feeling of well-being.

Glad you're feeling better. To fully counteract the rebound hypertension from clonidine, you need both alpha and beta blockers (or just small doses of clonidine.)

Speak with your doctor about getting some of these to have around just in case. I'm going to go ahead and close this since your questions seem to be answered. PM me if you have any questions.
