Goals to achieve purpose

1. Quit smoking

2. Study Muay Thai

3. Intentionally get beaten harshly

I need to be prepared to be there for those that need help, whether from themselves or from others.

This new life I have chosen 98 days ago will be placing me in dark territory with dark people.

We all die. I will die for a purpose.

Hi, I just registered here yesterday but I was reading through blog posts and came across one of yours (from when you were on day 2 of your '90 in 90') and then read several more, in chronological order. I found them interesting (I know, so what...) because of your honesty and openness as well as your determination in regards to your recovery. I'm a recovering heroin addict who has had various lengths of sobriety, none of them very significant, but I won't give up on quitting. I'm not sure if this site is going to be an obstacle in my recovery but your blog posts gave me some strength and hope, even if you find that silly. Anyways, good luck in your continued efforts and thank you for sharing your feelings and experiences. They may be of use to other addicts later on.

:)

Thanks, Smothered. Yeah, I figure honesty comes pretty easy on an anonymous site, plus I figure that most people can relate to what I'm going through since I'm not unique. we all face, faced or will face the same shit I have.

Keep on keepin' on, man. This thing ain't easy but its well worth it. Hope to see you around!
