that is not the right way of holding a glowstick bro...8(

I hold them that way quite often, and most people tell me I'm one of the best liquid dancers they've seen. As long as you can flow well and aren't covering too much of the light, then it's all good :)

i agree.everyone has their own style and as long as you can flow well then you are good to go,.i find it covering too much of the light by holding that way when giving a light show (beacause too many fingers on the light stick).i would prefer seeing more light than fingers when receiving a light show.

It does all depend on what is comfortable to you. I use to hold glowsticks with my fingers crossing over them but now I hold them on the ends because I'm able to move them around much more quickly and throw them around much more easily. Just maintain a flow and remember it is not about dancing lights but creating wicked tracers (atleast my style anyways).

Glowsticks just never really did it for me like lightshows, sticking etc. Although at one time I could swing a mean glowstick. Fire Twirlers are where its at visual wise for me. The artist Alex Grey had a show in chicago not to long ago with the most amazing fire show Ive ever seen. You can probably find it on youtube or something anyway dancing with glowsticks is kinda inferior when it comes to just dancing like Poppin,Ticks,Tutting, Waves,Jackin watching shit like that is way more visual then some douche waving glowsticks in your face.

Easy mate, "some douche waving glowsticks in somebody's face"... that is a bit extreme. I personally dance with them because I ENJOY dancing with them and if you enjoy watching then watch but if you don't then you don't have to watch... it is as easy as that.

''one of those guys''...take it easy bro.

God.... Wsup with the third degree I said I used to stick at one time myself but everyone knows that there is always that one guy at a party who comes up to you & is like DO You Want A Lightshow... & Im like no & they just persist on doing it its annoying to say the least so quit getting your panties in a bunch.

I've decided to move this thread to Drug Culture because it's really more about dancing/drugging toys than anything specifically related to ecstasy.

Isn't this a bit childish? I guess if you're performing for an audience it's understandable but if you're just swinging them things around in the air when everyone's busy doin their thing then what the hell?

Glowsticking rule #1:

you don't need to be good, just get a crowd of etards and anything you do is amazing.

People just like to hate on glowsticking because it is somewhat erroneously stereotyped as a candyraver phenomenon.
