this is a 1/4 of the lineup... i posted this event in JULY.. if you're a promoter and do big oneoffs/massives.. you know when you ask 50HEADLINING djs.. from all different booking agencies.. to be 100% confirmed before throwing their names out on INTERNET PROMOTIONS & FLYERS... so just quit your bitching.

We included the names on the TEASER, yes, the FIRST Teaser .. that are 110% confirmed...

We have HOUSE, TRANCE, BREAKS / live electro, LIVE ACTS, techno, hiphop & turntablizm ... to be announced, in the process of confirming the other 30acts!

... and DE LA SOUL is booked and confirmed and stop saying not to COUNT ON THEM... that's horseshit and drama everyone is starting.

And also, this is gonna be better than Ultra. Fewer great DJ's = more playing time

Ok well the date is November 14th and this event is November 29th!!! Thats not that far away and yet the people who have to plan to travel to Miami and possibly buy tickets are STILL WAITING to see if it's going to be worth it....this is bad promotion...so far those DJ's aren't worth it...and they don't make up a "massive" event, they needed to start throwing out some BIG names if they wanted this event to be better and get more people.

My Dad's a promoter and he could get more people to go see Jerry Lee Louis than these promoters could get people to go to this event, lol.
 
You know what totally pisses me off about this board?!? It's freaking worthless!! The entire SE events section blows! When I got into the scene 2 years ago, I lived in the Midwest and bluelight was the place where you went to find out any and all information on events. On this board, the promoter (maybe) or someone posts the event and then just forgets about it. It is pointless to ask questions about the event, and it seems the only posts contain drama or unconfirmable information!

you cant count on them...they were booked and confirmed at the harvest fest, a MUCH bigger show than this and simply decided not to play...I would never count on them again

and i was helping throw the harvest, they had a whole fucking crowd of screaming fans in front of a huge outdoor stage and just decided not to play...I was there WATCHING de la soul say they weren't going to perform, and they were 100% booked and confirmed...

seriously, i would not count on them, they dissapointed a huge audience, and i know i wouldnt support them or book them, and you cannot count on them...

the other talent looks *okay* but i mean your talent seems to be all breaks and drum and bass on the teasers...its the 25th and still no house or trance talent up there? come on, you cant expect any real club-goers to attend your show based on that lineup, that party they are throwing in lauderdale (nightmare before xmas) sounds better than this :)! book Markus Schultz, Oscar G, Satoshi Tommie, Edgar, Roland, Hardware, etc, if you want to have some real EDM talent at your show...the party is smack dab in the middle of downtown miami where we have quality parties with house talent that draw 2000+ people every weekend (space) and you guys book all breaks and drum and bass? but i guess your trying to attract 'ravers' and not 'clubgoers'...next year, i think more success will be had if you get both groups to come out!

my point is, you cant just say "we have house and trance talent too" and not put names out...obviously you dont have anyone confirmed thats worth seeing in those genres or you'd have it on the flier... :)

house is the most popular genre of EDM right now in...well...everywhere, so you guys are ignoring something important

I will prob be in Miami this weekend.. and I'm just giving my reasons for not going.. Ghetto/Parking/Music and ticket price is way more then I'm willing to pay to party in the ghetto of Miami.. think I'll head to space:P
 
wow since when is trance a club goer music i always thought ravers go for trance n house not breaks n d&b those are usually for the older drinking type

--i havent slept in awhile so if this sounds harsh dont mind me__
 
Club goer.. I enjoy clubs ... I think it's interesting how it all goes together.. I am into the lighting and such as well... and most non perm installs (tours I consider perm because they are designed before the tour begins usually) don't compare to the install of a decent club.. which they don't have here where I'm from... not to the magnatude of Miami anyway :) and yaayaya it's about the music as well... I'm not going to the hiphop club or anything ;)
