Hello all, it's been quite a while since I've been on a message board - since the early days of ScoreHero, haha.
Anyways, I'd just like to take a quick moment to introduce myself and familiarize myself with the board and its members. I'm an avid drug enthusiast/researcher/user/theorist/advocate (albeit my funds are a tad low now that I'm in college, my use is not as avid as I'd like it to be). I've actually only been doing drugs for three years (being only 18 as it is). Prior to that, I was an extremely ignorant drone of the elementary and middle school drug resistance programs. Upon experimenting with marijuana, I soon found my brain and mind exploding with new ideas, revelations, perspectives, and processes. I constrained my drug use to solely marijuana for six months, not yet willing to experiment with harder drugs. I then found myself with a different circle of friends with much, much heavier drugs and in the next six months to follow, repeatedly experimented with (well, I guess it wasn't experimentation if I kept doing them, haha) the vast majority of street drugs and developed significant problems with many of them. I have extensively used nearly all "common" street drugs utilizing nearly every route of administration possible (intravenous, insufflation, oral). I've found myself the most fond of hallucinogens, opiates, and stimulants while not enjoying most depressants such as alcohol, barbiturates, tranquilizers, benzodiazepines, and dissociatives. I have not yet been able to experiment with the more sophisticated phenethylamines like 2C-B or 2C-E, unfortunately.
Now I've recovered from any dependencies I had earlier in life and strive to use drugs as effective tools for everyday improvement of productivity, management of stress and other negative feelings, strengthening social relationships, and expanding my intelligence. I hope to one day be a political advocate in the legalization of drugs and other controlled substances in the US. I am currently studying for a PhD in quantum physics and can honestly attribute my decision to study such an erudite field to hallucinogenic experiences provoking my interests in the physical sciences. I also enjoy mathematics, chemistry, and computer science, and this board seems to contain many, many intelligent people with whom I hope I can learn from. I've been studying drug chemistry, biochemistry, and synthesis for quite a time now and was continually referred to this board for any and all questions. I'm glad I've finally joined and hopefully I can participate in and learn from this place.
And I'd like to ask a quick question; I remember hearing on an interview I saw on TV that a study was conducted and found that a large percentage of those with drug problems lost their father prior to puberty. Considering both my past usage tendencies and my father's suicide at age 12, I'd say this is an accurate statement. Does anyone agree and/or know the study?
