Hey everyone I'm glad to finally have become a Greenlighter. I've been using this site for a few years now, mostly to read up about other peoples experiences with various drugs I have tried and am curious about.

I'm currently based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Was previously in China and Hong Kong for almost 10 years.

I've used to regularly use cocaine China/Hong Kong. Not in huge amounts but it did get to a point where I felt I was using it a bit more often that I would have liked. Since moving to Indonesia ecstasy and shabu (what they call meth, or ice here) are the only drugs I have been able to get. Again, I don't consider myself an addict, but do habitually use and have been coming back to Bluelight to research the short and long term risks and symptoms of using these substances.

Yes true... but drug use here is rampant. Waiters at night clubs openly sell ecstasy to patrons and there are karaoke rooms that you can hire where you can do basically anything you like inside.

I have always wanted to go to China! I studied Chinese in college for several years.. Wo de ying wen ming zi shi Rob. was that correct?

Anyway, how's the ice where you are? Have you tried it? The stuff on the east coast USA is far from delicious.

There's bluelighters in Bangkok and Phnom Penh, some exists of the States and locals.


How's life over there? It's a nice area, have been wanting to holiday there.

Yes I've been using here for a couple of years now. I can't compare to other countries as have never used meth anywhere else... hence the main reason why I joined Bluelight.

There's no death penalty for personal use, normally a stint in rehab and jail. Even for dealers, I have never heard of local dealers being sentenced to death, even those caught with a lot of product. I think that punishment is saved for the high profile cases like Bali 9 etc.

Jakarta isn't great.. a big dirty city with bad traffic. There's not much to do besides shop, eat and drink, but you can find better quality of each in most other Asian cities. The clubs here however are probably the wildest in Asia... it's very underground and not in your face like in Thailand, but everyone knows the districts and places you can go to buy and do virtually anything you want.

The Indonesian countryside and islands are definitely worth taking time to visit though. Beaches and mountains here are pretty amazing and once you are outside of the main cities you get to experience real, raw Indonesia.
