Anxiety Girlfriend being detained by ICE

You know what is so stupid about the situation is that she had her papers and she was doing all the right things. She should be rewarded not deported. I have a lot of people in my life who don't have status, I've known them for decades. Usually if they need to take care of business at home, the man will go and the women and children stay here, all the kids are US citizens. Eventually the guy will reappear and all is well. I don't ask because it's none of my business. But I think since Trump got elected everyone is tracking where ICE is operating and staying away from those areas whenever there's an operation; and I don't think people are going back and forth as much either. Way too much law enforcement activity right now. On the bright side, oddly enough, business is going very well and everyone is busy, or at least too busy to return my calls. I have to wait in line to hire them. Nice problem to have.
