Girl in College Class -- Help!

im in a similar situation.

there is a girl in class who always wants to sit next to me, we talk in class, on smoke breaks. i mentioned gettin stoned n watchin the hobbit cuz its been on my to do list since the movie was in theaters but i usually never get around to the things i say im goin to do. when i mentioned watchin the movie she was really excited n told me to call her, but i forgot my grandpa was in town that week so i never did. then last week we were txt'n back n forth n then after a good bit of txt'n i said we should hand out sometime, n then the texts stopped, then i saw her yesterday n everything was dandy again in class n she gives me a hug when we part ways (doesnt do it to any of the other group of people we smoke cigs on break with) and she always makes a point to tell me to call or txt her as we go our seperate ways, so we txt'd a good deal last night but i didnt ask to hang out cuz i dunno for whatever reason she didnt respond well to that but everything else she seems genuinely interested. so i guess ima just keep playin it by ear but its confusin the shit outta me n i legitimatly like her, like i felt like she got the impression that when i said we should hang out that i was tryin to in some way initiate sex but honestly i like her n wanna get to know her w/ something more then just physical, i mean she is hot n i def wanna fuck her but im not real smooth so i figured just hangin out n goin from there was the way to go. so everything is goin well i guess sans the fact that in person she makes it seem like she wants to hang out but the one time i initiated it outside of class she ignored the txt/idea/whatever

eh if she isnt into me its no sweat of my sack but it bugs me cuz im into her n she seems interested i just dont know how to proceed from here on, so i guess ill just keep txtin her n bullshittin n hangin out n class but im certainly confused by what i see as mixed signals
 
High on life why dont you call her and ask her if she would like to go see a movie? If you actually like her take her on a date. Set a date and time. You could call and say would you like to go see "current poular movie" tonight.
 
^^well i figured that'd be the next logical step if ida gotten a yea "yea we should sometime" or something like that after the time she didnt text me back, like i said we are still hangin n class n txt'n but i backed off cuz i didnt know what to make of the fact that she just didnt respond...at all. like what do you make of that, everything else indicates she's interested n that just threw me off so i took the fuck it if you dont want to no biggy route but i still interact with her, i figured id just keep doin what im doin n try hope things continue goin well n ill try again but i was confused by it, preciate your input tho. i guess ill either ask her next time after class or just call

Lol oh man I know you're young and all but men like you drive me crazy to the point where I get annoyed and they go from a possibility to " don't talk to me anymore."

You need to stop being like this and just ask her already.

i mean i was just lookin for some sort of positie response to know she was into me/down to hang out n i didnt get it

like what about it is annoyin n what exactly did i do wrong?

n im young but im not all that young im 24, ive just never been good with girls n b/c of that for awhile just gettin high suited me just fine, but i dont use the way i used to n im tryin to put myself out there its just unfamiliar i guess

She's giving you soooo many signs and you're just being too (trying to think of an SLR word for this).... scared. It gets to a point where you're tired of dropping hints and waiting for the guy. She even said "Call me and lets go see the hobbit" (paraphrased) so she said up front she'd go with you, and you're being too timid. It gets to a point of annoying to continue trying.

its just confusin, we were just txt'n back n forth, i go take a shower n called n no answer, i know she is by her phone watchin law n order svu. like i dont think im in the wrong for wonderin what the hell the damn deal is

like i get what your sayin n i appreciate you pointin it out but this is frustrating the shit outta me, i dont 'spit game' cuz i dont like games

what just happened makes me feel like the drug dealer who says yea give me five mins n then you call 15 mins later n no answer, wtf? i hate those drug games n i feel like women are just full of games
 
Usually when something like this happens, it means that the girl in question wants to bypass all formalities and immediately have anal sex, but that's just my experience....
 
^^some how i get the impression if i just called or txt n said lets fuck, i wouldnt get any better response

Highonlife, I briefly read through your messages and you are sounding a bit desperate. No offense. You got to play it cool man. Don't be so needy. If she doesn't txt you back, don't text her again. Don't call her. Wait until you actually have someone to say. Maybe she's busy or if you know that she's not, then, it's obvious she doesn't want to talk to you anymore and you have to leave her alone. Give the girl some space. It's true when they say girls like to chase a little bit too. No one wants a man who practically throws himself at them. Too available is never attractive. Try backing off for a bit and seeing if she initiates with you.

Text her and say "Hey, I want to see the Hobbit at x time on x day. You want to go?" Be direct.

right on, no offense taken. i appreciate you reading my posts n responding. but yea im gonna back off quite a bit cuz i dont like playin games. ive never claimed to be super smooth or whatever or good with women but its obvious (for the most part: i.e. in class, thru txt) that we like eachother but i was DIRECT last night and got no response. i woke up to a txt this morning sayin sorry i didnt get back to you last night but last night was a super dramatic night. so again i go back to the drug dealer reference, we all know how dealers play games like that but fortunately im not fiendin or gonna get sick if i dont get what she's got, so fuck it i guess

but i was last night, no i didnt mention watchin the hobbit cuz i said fuck it a few nights ago n got high n watched it by myself, im glad i did i enjoyed the movie alot, the hobbit was like the first real assigned book for school i ever read as a kid growing up.

i did ask to go out for drinks tho, but again no answer. n again i woke up to a txt sayin sorry bout last night etc etc

i didnt make the post to just be told im right n i def value n appreciate the others opinions, however it is somewhat gratifying to know im not the only one who sees it the way i do

anyways im not gonna respond to the txt this morning, if i dont hear from her til monday then so be it but im done puttin myself out there only to be ignored. i mean rejection is one thing when you just go up to someone n they arent feelin it or whatever but the mixed signals n what not n it seems obvious she likes me in person but fuck tryin to get to spend time with her outside of class is frustrating the shit outta me

Good call on not asking her to go see a movie, stupid idea for a first date. If it was me I would cut all contact and let her make a move. Ignoring my texts and calls wouldn't fly, let her do the fucking work.
 
^^it wasnt to go see a movie, that shit was in theaters awhile ago

it was to come over n get stoned n watch it (just to be clear cuz lysis kept sayin like i was tryin to take her to a movie n said something bout stringin things on so long you lose interest but this has all happened within like the last 5 weeks, class started at the middle/end of january), i dunno maybe that makes a difference, so im just puttin it out there
 
I've been spinning my wheels with different girls for months. It is a delicate game.

I've learned to just play the games with as many chicks as possible. I fail a lot. But, it doesn't stop me. I know you live in a heavily populated area, sir, not far from me, at that. SO MOVE ON. If she hits you up, respond with as few words as possible.

Don't tell her a novel like in here. Just keep it short and sweet, and take your sweet time responding.
