So what's up with this? There's been several studies done on ginger root being a good nausea and vertigo eliminator

I know after I eat too much and take ginger it helps within 20 minutes or so.

but does it help with stomache discomfort caused by psychs? Specifically with 2ce which causes a lot of it with many users?

Thanks =D

Obviously it wouldn't hurt to take it and try but how effective would it be to take with 2ce or w/e? experiences?

i know some people say it helps with shrooms but i feel like food and shrooms might cause the stomache discomfort with a different mechanism thatn 2ce (maybe not shrooms idk)

I don't know why there has to be a study done about this. People have been using fresh ginger for stomach upsets for thousands of years now.

For mushrooms I boil chopped ginger and dried licorice root for about 10 minutes, remove from heat and let cool for 2-3 minutes, and then I pour that over the mushrooms. It'll give you a much more efficient trip but without the mushroom gut.

One of the lesser known functions of ginger is its ability to detoxify substances that it's combined with in oral preparations.

It probably doesn't hurt, but I don't think it has a direct effect to counteract the 2ce. Ginger has been recognized as a pretty general purpose gastric calmative agent for quite a while. I think it's due to the presence of some cmpds in the essential oil.

i pretty much always have ginger with trips to reduce stomach discomfort

i cant remember doing it with a 2c-x, theres nothing stopping you trying it out and reporting back here though

also is it funny to anyone else that if you ask any of your friends theres pretty much a 95% chance that they dont know ginger is a godsend for an upset stomach?

its a pretty vital thing to know imho

It depends on how bad your GI problems are, IMO. It's never done anything for my nausea on 2c-x. Whereas, ondansetron is a direct 5ht3 antagonist and works wonders. If your issues are bad enough, I think it'd be worth perusing for some (obviously I can't tell you where to get any, but it's out there.)
