Ok so with nothing substantial to post here is the remainder of my (crack & heroin free) bank holiday shoppings. As already stated first here is the remainder of the latest Q (minus a gram or 2) of that stuff...

mpf starts in about 6 hours and hasn't been cancelled due to covid yet, do you think i can be confident its actually going ahead this year?

also, sun forecast for manchester. it is ordained that mpf weekend shall be glorious weather, not just for manchester, genuinely glorious, so the fans may eat their popolinos pizzas and drink oranjeboom black in all saints park between bands.

distral had to cancel due to covid though, and a fed other bands i don't care about, but distral are mint. still, fucking excited!!!

also am off to a strong start by having got drunk last night so slept terribly. how the fuck am i gonna do 3 days of heavy all day drinking? how much money am i gonna have to drop on suspect powders to keep me awake?

Sat in a hostel by the pool doing some work on my laptop; with the easing of the covid nonsense earlier this year we are seeing a huge return of tourim for the first time since early 2020; it's great for my hotelier and f&b industry friends who have really been hurt for trade past two years

I'm amazed at how flabby and swinelike many of these younger people are; especially the women, layers and layers of fat swaddling arms, legs, faces, necks, ankles - they are definitely fatter than when I was a teen/younger adult - even from the same parts as I'm from.

It's like they just ate potatoes, white bread and milk for ten years and never exercised. I'm not fatphobic; some of my best friends are fat fucks but it's not my favourite trait either,especially when I'm hungover and trying to enjoy my breakfast

i am fatphobic, and since people who care automatically assign people with eating disorders that label, i'm not even going to try not to be since apparently that's not possible for me without recovering from a 25 year affliction with no sign of going anywhere, you should see some of the fat acceptance people who try and co opt racism and ableism, not realising they could just choose to eat nourishing food and walk a bit more, unlike a quadriplegic. i've been in a bit of a youtube rabbit hole about it.

day 1 of mpf done, was mint. i feel surprisngly OK today but yesterdays mystery stimulant was definitely mysterious. did the job though. today will try to be sensible as my stomach is punishing me already. the shop next to the park that sold oranjeboom black has shut. sad times!

But I saw some woman in Maccies t'other day sporting a MPF sweatshirt (I'd just like to stress I was there in a work capacity, not as a customer - because once you've seen how they operate you'd never eat there again).

I thought to myself "surely the whole punk ethos is opposed to Shameless capitalism?"

Then I was reminded of "The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle" and it all made sense...

I used to know a refrigeration engineer who told me Maccy D's is always the cleanest place he's come across.

The pub lunch place always being the most disgusting one.

its on right now.

i've come home to get an early night cos rocknroll. but of course they sell merch. i got hoodies for every year i been. its less capitalist and more that tickets barely cover the costs so if you wanna lt the bands have a free drnk and maybe a dinner, better sell some merch. also i know most of the promoters cos i been going to gigs inmanc since i was a kid and i'd prefer them get any profit then some other cunt.

re hygeine, where does popolinos on oxford st figure?

hope your sons gf is ok. nightmare
