been to georgia and loved it- would go again if i can't get a trip somewhere i haven't been. been to croatia, know nothing about hungary will see if there's anything. cos i don't want to be on my own i need to find organised tours which is an extra limitation. or i could just take a city break can probably cope on my todd for 3 nights.

Croatia is beautiful. Went to oulook festival there a couple of times

Little bit more of an "edge" than slight more developed/travelled countries like France, Spain etc.

The architecture in the historic areas is lovely and where I stayed by the sea is so so pretty. Would definitely go back

Hungary is pretty cool too but only been once. Very different to Croatia, no sunny Mediterranean vibes, but lots of cool grassland and Budapest is stunning

Would be interesting to hear what Georgia's like from someone who's been

it was mint!!! amazing food. ushguli is the most magical place i've been. tblisi seemed cool but i was rattling the whole time i was there so didn't take it in really. the stalin museum in gori was weird as fuck.

you can see it being ruined before your eyes though. get there quick. they were building hotels right up against their defensive towers, which are all UNESCO world heritage sites. can't blame them for wanting to make a living out of their amazing landscapes and history.

@chinup can highly recommend Tajikistan, it’s soooo ridiculously cheap once you’re there.
i was supposed to be going to tajkistan!!! that's the trip that got cancelled.

they have written back and recommended madeira, greece, morocco, iceland, and i also saw a romanian trek with some culture thrown in. they have a croatian one including korcula which i remember being mint, but the walking is described as 'leisurely' and really i want 'intensely painful.' gonna take a proper look tonight and decide.

Midway through breaking a new curfew imposed yesterday that went into effect 45 mins ago, AMA
do they not come and hunt you down over there? what happens if caught? just bribe with a few quid?

(I have a rough idea where you are, well I know the continent anyway)

Just had my 5th cup of coffee 0f 2021 with brunch, and I gotta say that coffee has a more pronounced effect on me than cocaine; I need a dump, I'm shivering, gurning a bit and have a serious urge to do... Something!

if you have no tolerance you find caffeine really is a drug lol.

when i was in rehab and we weren't allowed caffeine til i started robbing it from NA, on my weekend visit i had 2 cups of tea. was fun but wasn't enough to gurn though that did happen to me after i had 3 pots of tea in 3 hours after none for 5 days. then i was twitching and gurning.

i can't think/type the words '2 cups of tea' without shortly after thinking of two dead police.... thanks star fucking hipsters:
