๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Social ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ Gibberings ver. CCXIX - "what's new, c*nty chops?"

Well Nitrous Oxide plus oxygen is a wonderful mix I have to say. I don't think I've ever felt so relaxed, relieved, and happy in my whole life.

Although that is probably also due to the fact the medical procedure I underwent today went far more successfully, easily, and painlessly than I ever could have imagined.

And a ticking time bomb that may never have come to light until it was far too late, if it wasn't for all these scans, has probably been completely successfully removed.

All this was secondary to the suspected cancerous spot on my lung, the process for that still remains to be undergone, but I think this at least means that any potential Big C has not spread from my lung, and that they don't think the other area treated today was even related to my lung.

It's weird how what initially was very frightening and worrying news, may in fact turn out to be life saving, and something that could extend my life expectancy well beyond what it would have been, if these things had never been discovered.

I think that's the case with what happened today, but it would be very premature to say the same about the more serious lung spot.

They haven't even established what it is yet, although it is suspected to be malignant and I've been put on a 2 month escalated treatment list, so it's being taken seriously.

For all the berating the NHS gets, I have found them absolutely amazing throughout all of this, with the professionalism and speed with which all the steps and processes have been taken.

Hospital services for potentially serious issues seem to be much better than the services provided by my GP practice, I don't think they have been doing anywhere near as well in so many different ways, they have been poor quite a few times.

Entonox, Propofol with a heroic dose of LSD is a weekend well spent. Positively glowing as I stroll into work tomorrow.

I can imagine, it sounds wonderful!

I'd swap benzos for entonox in a heartbeat if only it was possible or practical in any way to be on that, as and when required, throughout the working day etc.

Just found this Woman, Google searched more quotes from her & this made me laugh out loud, damn truth right there folks.

Saint John of the Cross
I learned about him from my main Aghori "Guru" who's parents are Hardcore Roman Catholic, their Son became a Sanyasi Aghori :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:๐Ÿ’€๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ–ค
It was from Guru-Ji I learned about Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj who was part of The Nath-Aghori school & taught None Duality in the most amazing way, I know you are aware of "Hindu" teachings but Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj is truly amazing, even @Foreigner likes him & on the P&S part of BL Forum the posts this member does are amazing & I take notice of everything he posts.

I Promise you check out the work of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, it puts across "advaita" in such a simple way even a small child could understand it.

โ€œI am not asking you to commit suicide. Nor can you. You can only kill the body, you cannot stop the mental process, nor can you put an end to the person you think you are. Just remain unaffected. This complete aloofness, unconcern with mind and body is the best proof that at the core of your being you are neither mind nor body. What happens to the body and the mind may not be within your power to change, but you can always put an end to your imagining yourself to be body and mind. Whatever happens, remind yourself that only your body and mind are affected, not yourself. The more earnest you are at remembering what needs to be remembered, the sooner will you be aware of yourself as you are, for memory will become experience. Earnestness reveals being. What is imagined and willed becomes actuality โ€“ here lies the danger as well as the way out.โ€

โ€œPain is physical; suffering is mental. Beyond the mind there is no suffering. Pain is merely a signal that the body is in danger and requires attention. Similarly, suffering warns us that the structure of memories and habits, which we call the person (vyakti), is threatened by loss or change. Pain is essential for the survival of the body, but none compels you to suffer. Suffering is due entirely to clinging or resisting; it is a sign of our unwillingness to move on, to flow with life.โ€

โ€œYour own little body too is full of mysteries and dangers, yet you are not afraid of it, for you take it as your own. What you do not know is that the entire universe is your body and you need not be afraid of it. You may say you have two bodies; the personal and the universal. The personal comes and goes, the universal is always with you. The entire creation is your universal body. You are so blinded by what is personal, that you do not see the universal. This blindness will not end by itself โ€“ it must be undone skilfully and deliberately. When all illusions are understood and abandoned, you reach the error-free and perfect state in which all distinctions between the personal and the universal are no more.โ€

โ€œDo not try to know the truth, for knowledge by the mind is not true knowledge. But you can know what is not true โ€“ which is enough to liberate you from the false. The idea that you know what is true is dangerous, for it keeps you imprisoned in the mind. It is when you do not know, that you are free to investigate. And there can be no salvation, without investigation, because non-investigation is the main cause of bondage.โ€

Hardcore metaphysics in Gibberings! Is this fifteen or twenty years ago?

Love the above quote.

Love the above quote.
The book is considered a spiritual classic by authors and teachers like Eckhart Tolle, Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra and Adyashanti, who called the book a "standout" and "the clearest expression I've ever found." Dyer calls Nisargadatta his teacher, and cites the quotation, "Love says: 'I am everything'. Wisdom says: 'I am nothing'. Between the two my life flows." Joseph Goldstein visited Nisargadatta in January 1980 after reading the book, and after several meetings said, "The path that Nisargadatta revealed was not a search, but a find, not a struggle, but an abiding, not a cultivation, but something intrinsic to all"
