I'm not trying to be obtuse. I'm just saying give a poster room to breathe and give him a chance to air his thing .. it's not like he's gonna do an MSB and go on and on about it.

It's your choice to legislate or not obviously ... you could just leave it to alisdairm tho, since it's personal between them and that's where the beef lies

So some how you speak for everyone on these boards Pffft.

Over here in EADD the rules on BL are not applied anywhere near as tightly as they are elsewhere, I see what other are infracted for across the site so you will just have to take my world for it.

The mod team here take a ridiculous amount of abuse at times, you will not find other BL staff members to be as tolerant, familiarise yourself with the rules you signed up to when you joined, if you don't like them don't log on.

You used to be a decent poster. Your mod posts are terrible.

I'm not claiming to speak for everyone (as you well know). Banter gets thrown around on these boards, and it's generally well tolerated. It's only when mods/admin feel their e-dicks shriveling that they leap out with the ban-hammer and it's bollocks. You're ruining what was a great site.

That annoys me. Mods editing or deleting posts for no good reason other than they didn't like them.
 
Atm's cool. Certain other mods would have been straight in there with the edit button on my post.

Tbh I don't notice much difference in atm's posting style pre/post mod. Nice guy doing his best. Respect.

Sam was a brilliant poster. Would probably have turned into one of the best ever posters on here. Knowledgeable chap. Ruined by becoming a mod.

It really is all Brimz's fault.

Yep it is to an extent but i would blame the MP for B&NES for getting me a flat but still i'll take the flack.

I can't believe you were banned for that SHM. Seriously. Its clearly a personal vendetta now. I can't even see whats actually wrong with that post. As far as I could see it was just pisstaking about the excessive rules in the fun competition, rules that were mocked to varying degrees by me and jancrow, and a couple of others as well iirc.

And callling him Alibaba? Other people call him Ali or Alibongo or something...does he have to be referred to as AlasDairm in future? Just making sure I can avoid infractions here.

From those posts the only thing I can think of is that referring to mods/admin in anything less than reverential tones means that the post deserves to be deleted. Is that the case?

I am starting to think this is a V Bulletin thing.
I do know that mods in other V bulletin forums have their own forum section to discuss posters so that they can decide who to ban and why.

just think that it comes down to the fact that some mods like to bring the hammer down whilst literally salivating, its not exclusive to bluelight. But it tends to happen a lot on V bulletin forums for some reason.
