"Sidewalks", pavements. whatever.. a rare thing in the USA, Well I thought so anyway, I tried walking to the shops and got beeped at so many times when walking down a very busy road, where are your pavements??

For real. I literally got a hug off a Staffy today. I thought he was going to shag my leg but he just stood there with his paws round my waist and his head snuggled up to my stomach. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. He looks at you with these big dopey eyes and flops his paws about if you stop stroking him <3

edit: third fucking time today i've put a spliff down on my bed then not been able to find the bastard. need to get black sheets.

HR note: Four Belvitas, a fruit smoothie one spliff and two cups of green tea were also consumed, albeit through a different orifice than the 'supplement'.
 
yesterday morning; three, yes three hour hell to find vein which ended up being an string thin, kaggy-hand-side inside-wrist one that screamed histamine upon use and did its best to help me miss half the shot.. all the time in withdrawal - result; NOT the best start to the day



this morning - five minute search followed by discovery and access into long-occluded brachial vein, no pain, no worries about pressure or slipping out - result; i am in sync with all gods creatures, what a wonderful world et cetera





getting high off the relief alone, man. anyhow, morning all
 
Not drank in a few days, taken much more of my meds to help, just tried to get an appt. with my GP, she's nothing... Not even phone consultations...
And she's away for two weeks after this.
So I'm screwed good n proper.

I don't know what to say beyond try to hold on to that thought. That's an achievement that you shouldn't disregard.

Whether that statement's still true in a few days is immaterial (though I hope it is, but given your situation I doubt it); you've made steps to improve things for yourself.

Is there any alternative route you could take Monsta? Now's not the time for you to run out of meds and I'm really sorry it's worked out that way. Maybe find yourself some illicit benzos so you can stay off the bottle and try to work yourself out of the cycle?

Hope it works out somehow because life's dealing you shitty hands right now and although we're hardly bridge partners (I was going to say 'drinking buddies but that would've been inappropriate, eh? ;) ) you deserve better than that.
