I quite enjoy those long days where sleep doesn't happen (without the drugs), early morning drive or watching the sun rise and the place starting to come alive.

Yeah it is a nice feeling and great to do so every now and again. Cant beat listening to music as the sun comes up. My problem is these nights are far to frequent and they greatly affect my mental health and this is without substance use. I honestly am more fucked up off drugs than when I am on them...

All the bins have been sealed over with black bin bags and masking tape because there's an armed forces parade today. Welcome to Northern Ireland :D

Well, that'll surely foil any determined bin-bombers. That masking tape's a bugger to get off.

In other news, kate is out all day today, so me and the cats have the place to ourselves. I had a shit with the bathroom door open and cracked open a Guinness at 11am (after I had a shit; not during).

I also hope it was in the bathroom. Did seamus watch you from the door? I haven't even heard a parade yet but such scummy people about.

I am so excited for a few hours having a free house :D
 
I just moved to a new place of my own. Initial excitement has now turned into me staring into the abyss wondering if this is where I will die.
 
Yeah the novelty of your own place wears off very quickly, especially when you find yourself in the buying/begging furniture and minimal decoration stage.
 
yup I still have some painting and wallpaper stripping to do, gradually getting stuff for the kitchen, it is a hell of a lot of work really and i am KNACKERED. I want some good drugs.
