Gibberings Episode CCIV - A New Hope

Shit that's made me long for a sort of drug-themed rewrite of Shakespeare

I was chatting last night and we were discussing belongings and what they mean, why do people have attachments to what others would see as 'just stuff'. So if you had to grab just a couple of things (2 or 3) from your house and the rest would be destroyed or lost forever, what would you grab and why?

My first option was my harddrive with my all my photos, the second was my PS4 (even though everything is saved), I don't wear my wedding ring all the time but that is probably the only sentimental thing that I would like to take.

So not including your pets or children or partners etc what would you take. (Evey - in under 1000 words please :p)

dont know if i could read him again it was only under duress though i did love synges playboy of the westernworld as we had to do two plays for our gces back then and know your poets and also two novels. The first was great expectations which actually is a very good read indeed but for some reason our othe book was northanger abbey by jane austen. Now this is an all boys school so what they were thinking at that time i will never know. In the end with barely anyone reading it thet gave us lord of the flie just a few weeks before exam or nobody would have passed

It's normal, its the cycle of find something enjoyable, do it again and again and again. If it starts doing your head in, take a break and try and shift your focus onto something else etc

I asked my partner last night if me and the bearded dragon were on fire and she could only save one of us, how long would it take her to buy me a new bearded dragon? Honestly if it was just items and she and the animals could get out unscathed then I'd take my PS4, my photo albums, and a cross stitch my nan did me. Mostly sentimental value, though actually I suppose insurance would cover the PS4 and shit is all on the cloud these days so maybe I'd take my collection of old consoles and games instead because that's sort of one thing I guess.

And maybe the TV if I had time.

A collection isn't an item :D, that's like saying I'll take my wardrobe as it contains my favorite jumper. We both said the PS4 but then remembered its all backed up but it's funny how we both said PS4 (before our cameras).

Out of your collection of consoles, which one would you pick?

(Actually mods - this may be a good thread to split off to a new thread)

PC hard drive with all my photos, music etc
One of my guitars
Phone

My 'mental ill health' journal.
My laptop hard drive (for the writing saved on it).
My wallet.

I don't know if it's a good or bad thing that I have so little that I'd even want to keep. It took a while to even think of the third.
I don't consider any of my material possessions to be anything worth saving aside from the personal sentimentality of the first two.

20mg 3-meo-pcp this afternoon,
50mg methylone a little later,
125uG 1-p-lsd at 4pm,
all the house hold chores done and some light food and water / tea should make for a pleasant and swirly chilled out evening.

Have a safe and happy NYE everyone.

evey: no i got bored of it quickly, i just have maybe a 10mg dab with my tea in the mornings sometimes if i need to really wake up. Otherwise, I think, its best not to get too involved with it as it could end badly for some people if they aren't careful....

take care everyone.
