Gibberings Episode CCIV - A New Hope

Is it fuck. You're forgetting about "shooting Afghanis/Iraqis from Apache helicopters".

Well, the videos of this on YouTube make it look like a sport, anyway.

you can learn the basic idea of the game in about 20 seconds: the team playing offense gets four "downs" (i.e. plays) to advance the ball 10 yards. they can do that by passing (throwing the ball) or rushing (running with the ball). if they do it, they get to start again (at "first down") until they score or until the team playing defense stops them advancing 10 yards. the other team then gets the ball and it's their turn.

That's how far I read until my head crashed into my keyboard.

I'm sitting fucking on a train, sweating like a pig.
Fucking hot as hell here. 41 degrees Celsius, as we speak.

Grass is always greener, eh? Fuck this weather kills me.

Morning Eadd,

Nice fresh day here today hovering around the 20 / 24 degrees - blue sky, no clouds :). I hope everyone has a great day.

I'll have the 41degrees please :) - has anyone heard from 'Catinthehat' lately, I know they are probably really busy this time of the year in the kitchen but I can't recall seeing him posting for a while.

Bear, if you can enjoy 41 degrees, you'd love it here - and i'd love to show you around :)

It's my winter at the moment, give it three/four months and Ill be in the 40's again (and Ill be complaining about the humidity) :). I have been fancying Australia for a while now thanks and we were actually trying to get to Sydney in February. Doesn't look like is going to happen now so were looking to try and get to Thailand but our plans often change several times before we actually set off.

Ah yes. The grass is greener (where it isnt 40+ C arid heat) - but thailand sounds a lot cheaper than australia.

What kills me is your nice and comfortable indoors with the AC units blasting - you step out of the house to get into your car and you look like you have just stepped out of the shower, clothes sticking to you etc

These few months after or before the heat starts again are perfect though, it's nice to see people actually walking about and enjoying the outdoors.
