We are currently sitting in the car waiting for the RAC. Captain Chaos thought it would be a good idea to leave the lights on overnight. ;)

I finish work in 30 mins and these bumps are not working anymore. I don't wanna be chained to my desk! I wanna run outside and drink on the roof!

I have not been to an air show in years!
I think daddy took me when I was about 8?
Has it changed much in the last 10ish years?

Airshows are good fun. Which one are you thinking of going to?

We used to go to the Leuchars Airshow almost every year up until the point it stopped a couple of years ago now that it's being turned into an Army base.

Haha, nice handbreaker, Dan. I used to love doing them (and J-turns, of course) when I was young and stupid on the breakwater on the snow. 8(

battery chargers are cheap, only a tenner last time i bought one (about 20 years ago). Cheaper than an AA membership anyway. One night high winds set the hazard lights off on my car, i was gutted to have to pay £130 or something to join the AA when all i had was a flat battery, which i could easily have fixed myself.

Meh. They went off by themselves, eventually .....

(I actually invented a device that would prevent you doing that, by switching off the lights if they were still on as you cut the ignition; if you really wanted them on, you would have to switch them off first and then back on after taking the key out) but no-one wanted to know about it. I should Open Source it. Hint: It relied on a capacitor charging via a diode while the ignition was on, and taking some time to discharge after the ignition is off; A AND B! = 1 means the ignition has just been turned off, so de-energise the lighting relay until the light switch is turned off and back on again.)

Just been to the dawlish air show... vulcan bomber flying around. what a machine. fucking massive and sounded like thunder

Erm, don't most newer cars do this anyway? I've certainly had a few that turn off the lights when the engine is shut off (irrespective of the position of the headlight switch/dial).
 
Sup people, how do?

Uncle's wedding was excellent, marred only slightly by my other uncle's wife who becomes more comically terrible every time I see her but hey ho there's always one etc. Back to work tomorrow, got a full eight or nine days ahead of me because I agreed to cover two lots of shifts when I was drunk like two months ago. Money tho!

i saw a rockwell b1 bomber do a touch and go landing at an air show, i was right next to the runway and the noise of the thing was just insane, and it was huge aswell. sat in the cockpit of a phantom f4 and got to see some f-16's close up aswell. They are beautiful machines, just a shame they are used to murder people.

I've got the house to myself at the moment but I've no doubt that my housemates will end up walking in just as they kick in... they'll wish they hadn't.. :D
 
I've just ordered 10 pennies myself. I was asked to get them for someone but now reckon I'll be indulging with them. Too impatient for the mushies to pop up!
 
It's going to piss down. So probably not going to be scoring tonight.

This is not really a bad thing; it's been unbearably humid and the air needs a storm to clear it, whereas I don't need more gear.

Feeling quite wide awake now, after being knackered all day. Perhaps I might take some of that MDMA I've been saving? Hmm, decisions .....
 
I'd go for the MDMA but that's probably me being a bit jealous and bored :D

Ya right about us needing a storm though, was pissing sweat just trying to get ready yesterday, I do not get how some women can wear dresses, tights etc on a daily basis, or maybe I'm just clumsy and out of practice

& i agree on needing a storm as well, humid as fuck here. christ i sound like my gran. anyways i love storms, dunno how people get so scared of thunder and lighting
