You must really, really, love that fucking bike. I assume you're referring to American states there?
That puts my recent trips to Halfords for my beloved new car into perspective. :D
It's actually number four in the pecking order. Yes, American states. Great aftermarket, and people who love to help as they are only doing those jobs to pursue shared interests, by and large.
A 1992/4 (not sure) Suzuki DR250S, which means it has an electric starter.
I've never seen it run. I bought for for $200 a few years ago.
But I did have another dirt model Suzuki DR250 a few years ago and loved it, except it couldn't wheelie above 2nd gear and cracked my shin kickstarting it.
And the 250's had a taller fifth and sixth gear than the DR350's, but 10% smaller valves and combustion chamber and a 1mm smaller little end.
So I have bought a 350cc head, new cam, crank, valves, camchain, conrod, complete electricial system, new rims, tubes, tires, carb kit, brake rebuild kits, cables, bars, and now this monster bigbore. Oh, and repainted the frame, rebuilt the suspension and have managed to do all this without the wife noticing I've been waxing money on bike parts. It SHOULD be a scarily torquey under suspended widow maker
So it's love/hate at the moment. Will need another 40 hours of my time minimum, then I can begin the process of breaking it again.
