It's chucking it down something rotten outside. I wanted to cycle into town later to meet someone but I don't think I'll bother...
 
We're due to get some heavy rain up here too but not until later on tonight & then it's supposed to last all through tomorrow. No doubt I'll be shutting myself indoors then too. It's a shame when it spoils plans though.
 
I got a dog. Also cats keep shitting in my vegetable patch. I've got a water pistol loaded and ready. Dog needed a home as person we know's mum went mental and walked up a motorway for miles. So she's in a home now... Sad :( Woman has too many dogs already so we got her for free.

So it's not a dog type of choice... I'd rather have a bigger dog really. it's a Chinese crested puffball. Apparently one of the oldest pedigrees, originally bread to keep people warm in africa. So genetic problems should be less of a problem... She's 4 and well sweet. :) I don't mind walking her. Bit effeminate though!

I went back to work today and I must say it felt great. I don't expect the feeling to last though :D I did return to a gift one of my customers left me - a Grateful Dead/Quicksilver Messenger Service/PH Phactor Jug Band gig poster %)

It's nice to have some wages coming in again and I'm back in the transit tomorrow to travel this fair province <3 It's great because it means 3 hours of my work day will be spent as a passenger - gotta love when we get more than we can carry at auctions as it means a return trip the next day. Going to save from my first couple of weeks wages and just put it down on driving lessons. I fear that if I have the money sitting around, I may be tempted during boredom to buy weed. Besides, I'm 25 and sick of presenting my provisional licence :\

Yeah I might trim its fur around its feet, is annoying having to dry her feet when it's wet out. And the rest of her when its raining. I could get some 'doggie booties' but I might as well wear a teeshirt saying I'm gay. (not that theres anything wrong with that obviously ;) )

...Or a waterproof dog coat, they probs exist.

In fact long haired dogs are annoying generally... getting shit (literal shit... and other crap) stuck to various areas. At least she doesn't molt. Meh.

Why oh why do I keep on forgetting that alcohol is such a shitty drug to choose. Feeling rather rough today.

Misinterpreted (i guess?) waterproof dog coat there TD and thought you meant just straight up waterproofing an entire dog which I thought was an excellent idea but yeah an actual coat makes more sense!
