and although, like the aforementioned drugs, it may have tremendous effect on some peoples lives (exemplified by your highly intriguing stories), it's certainly not comparable to the direct influence the strong psychedelic drugs have.

Whereas I am pointing out (for the final time coz I cant be arsed with backwards and forwardness saying the same thing each time) that a whole culture - in the most absolute terms of the word culture - has been overwhelmingly influenced by coca to the point of museums, art, dance and a whole tradition of fighting imperialist politics. How much more influence on a people do you want?
