because youre expelling stuffs with more force than the water in the bath could compete with pressure wise? er summat?, and air is being forced out, hence the bath bubbles. Unless you've got a particularly well used or stretched bumhole, I imagine it doesn't open much to let out air anyway, hence why it's often so godamned noisy on leaving.

are you in zee bath and browsing, jan? I like to do that too
 
I have visions of Jancrow laying in his bath desperately squeezing his bum cheeks in trying to take in water. I'm willing to bet a lot of money he tried this.

To clarify, to the Scotch gentleman with the shaved head, yes, you, sir... I'm sure I'd feel it if water was rushing in at the rate that I was expelling gas. I've bum dropped a couple of solutions and it's noticeable. I was having quite a hot bath at the time. Also, I had a poo afterwards and there was no initial spray of water.

To the lady with the spectacles over there, yes, I was browsing on my phone in the bath at that point. To clarify, I do not have a stretched bumhole. I think there is something in what you say about internal pressure.

To the lesbian lady in the Doc Martens, I did not actually have time to do that today but will have a go during my next bath.

Gawd, that's one of my pet hates. I always try to go before my shower or bath, although these things cannot usually be controlled in such a fashion.

Having an hour long soak and then getting out feeling all lovely, and then getting that urge to poo while you haven't even finished drying off .. URGH! Curse thy sphincter for such bad timing, the evil winking menace.

It RUINS the bath afterglow I like to bask in.
 
I've got a couple of free boxes if someone will deffo eat em. My sis won 4 boxes of about 16, in all the different flavours. We've chomped through 2 boxes, and now there's 2 boxes of mixed left. Some with a useby date of mid september, some mid october.

I'll happily mail em out (for free) to anyone who really likes em. they're very seedy and whatnot, but taste alright

Holland and Barrett sell em. Good quality bars.
