I find your points incredibly black and white OTW.
Maybe you have never had to 'save' a friend, maybe you have and succeeded. But not every case is the same and not everyone can be saved. People have to want to help themselves. There is only so much you can do.
And of course there are lots of negatives about bluelighters who died. No one is perfect. But that doesn't stop people remembering the good points about them. Obviously some people like to post in the shine topic for whatever their reasons. Why is that such a problem to you?
I don't see how it affects you enough to make incredibly harsh, sweeping statements which are obviously going to cause offense to people who have lost mates. Seems rather insensitive to say the least. Just don't click on the shrine topic.
