I took a 'bit too much' once of that and had mad rushes and proper tracers for a few hours. I did the same as you I underestimated what it could do till I hit the right dose. Not bad stuff really.

Do you worry about STD's

Aye haha has been pretty much my experience all day, very nice if not a bit overwhelming at times! Makes me hungry as fuck too, which I find odd as hell

Ok, silly question but one I've been pondering on and off or a while. At what alcohol percentage does a beverage result in a zero net water gain/loss? In other words at what ABV is the diuretic effect of the alcohol just strong enough to remove an equal amount of water to the inherent water content of said beverage?

Hmmm ...apparently 'for every 1g of alcohol drunk, urine excretion increases by 10ml'...you'll have to work pout the rest it's been a long day on the M1

@ Curious: Eh, I'd like to know that myself if it's possible to get an answer.

I'd hazzard that it isn't personally. My body may be a bit of an odd one, but I tend to retain water when I drink alcohol, whatever the circumstances.
This happens to me when i ve been bingeing abroad. Come back about 10-12lbs heavier thinking im a fatty but within a few days of getting back, zero booze and some mammoth frequent pissing i end up down about 6lbs from the weight i came home at. - that was boring as fuck - i appologise.

Thanks for that.

Maths certainly isn't my string point but if my calculations are correct, 1 unit of alcohol will result in 80ml of water being expelled. 1 unit of pure ethanol is 10ml. Therefore a solution containing 10ml alcohol and 80ml water Should result in no change to overall water content (in theory). My shitty maths skills say that the solution in question will have an ABV of just over 11%...

Someone check my figures please as this seems to suggest that drinking beer won't lead to dehydration. Experience suggests otherwise!

Ouch, my sympathies. J21-23, 26-27, 32-34 are a bitch. Sooooo glad I'm out of that situation now.

Yeah, as soon as I ditch the booze it results in a couple of nights of disturbed/interrupted sleep and muchos bathroom activity and hey presto, a coupla kilos of fluid disappears. Most annoying.

Not a regular thing for these days but had to go to Stoke for reasons of little to no interest.

I have to agree on the supposed diuretic effect of alcohol, I used to drink like a fish and never noted the effect to any great extent

Boomtown is hopefully going to be amazing. But might also be full of intensely annoying, stabby teenagers. I have a feeling it could go either way...

I have never packed quite so much fancy dress before. 8)

@ Dan: how have they got a pic of that before it's on? Was it used somewhere else?

Looks pretty impressive.

5 minutes peace and quiet from the dog and you know there's been trouble. Came out of the living room to check what he was up to and there's about 35 shoes on the grass. The shoe cupboard under the stairs never shuts properly. No idea how he manages to move them all so stealthily without a peep.

I was watching Peppa Pig this morning when suddenly my wife decided to turn the telly off for no reason.
How fucking childish is that?
