The main thing that made it easier for me to quit using gear was being made redundant from my job.
Suddenly I went from taking home £370pw to getting £70pw on JSA.
When working I would spend about £300 of my wages each week but now I just don't have the cash so it was easier to quit just cos I couldn't afford to be an addict anymore.
 
theres those that can intimtaidate an teriify and rob others, and those that cant. At least BL knows the difference. Just because you may happen to be a heroin ddict doent mean you go round robbing people. Shove that up yer tight ringer melanie philips.


Also discovered a novell way of cutting down on washing up today. Ive alreadyt done the move it to the spare room when the kitchen gets too full tactic. Next thing that starts happenijg is even those piles become so teettering that they start falling oiver and smash and dont have to be washed. YAY,

Im having quite an internal debate over this one. Ive got about 8 months worth of washing up, part of me wants to just biun it and be done with it, wgilst my puritanical side would never forgive me for that.

I spose ill carry on doing as ive alwways done, just do a bit when the urge grabs me (admittedly it is very seldom indeed that i get grabbed by an irrestitable urge to do loads of washing up) :\

Hopefully they won't get to hear about me as I just can't cut it as the poster boy of smack heads that they would like to show everyone.
It's funny though cos it was only my job that basically kept me using. As soon as the cashflow was stopped I stopped using.
Turning to crime never entered my mind, too old for that malarky

Sounds like it's about time to get the washing up done & then maybe buy some paper plates that you can just throw away and it saves building another mountain of dirty plates again.

ive already goy through £££s of throwaway plates and cuttlery.

Right, i need to tear my self away from here, see is Plush Avenue is back and do some washing up. A nice little half hour target usually gets extended into a sizeable amount.

I hate doing housework but back in the day I found that Speed was fantastic at getting twice the amount of work done in half the amount of time. It even helped to make it fun, put some music on and I was rushing all over the house.
Oh well, it's time to go & check my JSA is in the bank & then collect my script.
